I'm very pleased with my purchase. The padded straps make wearing the backpack more comfortable, and the interior as enough compartments for good organization and weight distribution. So far so good.
My only two wishes were that there was a second beverage compartment on the exterior, and that the bag would come in brighter and different colors. When I am traveling, I want a bag that stands out, so I can keep track of it.

Great backpack very well made. I wish that the main compartment was a little bigger or opened a little more but not terrible. Love the product overall.

I was in desperate need of a compact, commuter bag that didn't feel like I had a ton of bricks on my shoulders. I often carry way more than I need and this bag helps me consolidate. This backpack is perfect. Everything has its place. The engineering that went into this bag...simply awesome.

Daily use backpack - to/from work and take with me when I have to travel. Love the laptop section and extra sleeve for an iPad. Pockets and zippers inside are good but wouldn't mind a little more zip options. Outer pocket has a key holder and is a little shallow for much more. I'm bigger so they cross straps are on the last rung and a little high but not a deal breaker. All and all, happy with the purchase.

With the return to the office and business travel, I wanted to get a more professional looking bag that could hold a Yeti 18oz Rambler, my 15" laptop and docs and also had a number of pockets to organize all of the cables and chargers that I carry around.
I only wish that the shoulder straps were two inches longer.

Comfortable to carry, nice size, looks good.
Lack of interior pockets is an issue, theres 1 on the inside so organization is an issue and website pictures dont really reflect this.
Will still use for one day trips where im not carrying around laptop, chargers etc

High quality build. Comfortable. Should last for ages.
Wish it was a tiny bit larger and had 1 or two small outside pockets, including 2 symmetrical water bottle holders.

This backpack is great! I went camping with it and have found out how to perfectly optimize the storage. That is, except for my laptop. The back pocket wasn't nearly enough to fit it, and I had to use an unconventional method to fit it in.

Pros: Excellent build quality overall and very good looking. Top handle is very comfortable and the bottle container is expansible enough for slimmers bottles, keeping them tightly fit.
Cons: These are more personal I guess, but I found the shoulders straps to be too stiff. Also, the side compressors are kind of useless when the bag isn't at full capacity. The front pocket is hard to open when the bag is full. The strap to attach the backpack to the luggage handle is useless when the bag is full, because it is VERY tight and the handle can't pass through.

Used this pack on a 2 week trip. Construction and materials are very solid and good quality. This pack will stand the test of the long haul. My first use was on a two week trip so I was trying to stuff it with many things. I had wished the pack opened wider to find stuff at the bottom in the two main compartments. It's somewhat deep and found myself blindly fishing for stuff a lot. It has a slim fit which is nice to have compact and slim profile particularly walking through crowds. The shoulder straps are strong and well padded. It sits on back well with a frame on the back which helps. The laptop compartment is strong and well padded. It is very protective of it. I found myself wishing it was so robust as it takes alway room from the inside storage but again I was in a two week long trip.

Bought it as a carry-on in place of my Never-Check backpack for longer flights due to the lack of luggage pass-through strap on the Never-Check. Although it's not quite as versatile inside as the Never-Check, it does the trick and makes traveling with multiple bags easier.

The backpack has excellent protection for my laptop which I take almost everywhere I go for work or leisure. It is slimmer than my old Swiss one which is good on one hand because it fits better under an airline seat; on the other hand, there is no longer space to stuff in a sweater or a sandwich. I kept finding compartments as I was repacking my stuff, which is good, but having a few more zippered pockets inside and outside for things like chargers would be nice. The water bottle holder is way too tight for even a 1 quart bottle.

Love this bag - this is my second one. Only thing that would improve this bag would be another side pocket - and make them large enough to hold water bottles. Also, why does the zipper on the front top not have the pull attachment like all the others? Otherwise - it's amazing.

This is a fantastic backpack in every way but one. I love it. It's lightweight, well-organized, and good-looking.
HOWEVER, it lacks a intelligent storage space for cords. That's a BIG minus that I really didn't grasp until after I had purchased it.
Don't get me wrong. I'm really happy with the bag. But now I've got one pocket with a mess of cords. That's less than ideal.

Well made and professional grade. Wish it had just a little more room.

I had a Timbuk2 messenger bag for about 12 years that I used for my work commute and as my carry-on for any trips. It served me very well, but the plastic buckles finally gave way, so I decided to re-invest in another Timbuk2. This time I opted for a backpack seeing as my back is also 12 years older. Now that I work mostly from home these days, my work commute is minimal, but I do use it for visits to the gym. The quality seems very strong, there's more than enough room for what I am using it for, and it's a good looking bag as well. It should fit toiletries and maybe a change of clothes in addition to a laptop, but i'd be surprised if I could pack much more than that.

After a few trips, I can say this backpack is pretty solid. It's deceiving as it looks like there isn't a lot of storage but there is actually a lot. I wish there were more pockets but overall, would buy again.

I bought this bag for my husband to use as a work/travel backpack and he has loved it. Giving this 4 stars instead of 5 only because the clips on the bottom of the bag are kind of strange, as if they are not loose, they complicate shoving things to the bottom of the pack. The bag itself is the stellar quality we all know and love from Timbuk2.

This is a well-constructed pack that is really comfortable to wear. I haven't really tested it to full capacity yet, but so far it fits my 16" laptop, a 12.9" iPad with keyboard case, and an ereader quite nicely along with the requisite doodads and a lunch box. The compartments are quite deep and the padding is excellent.
The one drawback that I would point out is that it's not expandable. The material, which seems both tough and durable, has no give and so it's hard to stuff larger items in there.

It is a terrific pack, well made, comfortable to wear and a great size. but the middle pocket is hard to fill if there are things in the outer pocket so that reduces the space/ ease of use.

I use the backpack for college. I love the professional look, and it's very comfortable walking around campus. The only thing I don't like is the water bottle holder. It's extremely small and doesn't fit my average 32oz Nalgene bottle. I think water bottles are important for commuters/college students, so this should be fixed

Very solid bag with three large pockets. However, what you get in organization, you lose in having the ability to fit bulky items into the bag. Sometimes if I'm packing a large tupperware or other big item, it can get tricky to cram it into the main pocket. That said, this bag looks great, feels incredibly sturdy, and is perfect for commuting.

Great quality, amazing look, but ally he pockets are a lot more compact than I expected and am used to. Hard to get things in and out. Hoping it stretches out over time.

Beautiful backpack. Design looks super nice and clean. Material feels very nice and durable. You can tell it's good quality. Also feels very comfortable. However, it doesn't seem to fit as much as I'd like. Pictures make it appear bigger than it is. Water bottle holder is fairly small. Ended up returning it and getting the Q Laptop Backapck 2.0 and that fit my needs a lot better.
