I use this backpack for my daily work backpack. I'm mostly lugging around cables, a laptop, a water bottle, a small first aid kit, and a couple small tools. There's still some room to spare. The main criticism I have for this bag that the water bottle holder is on the slim side I wish it were able to stretch enough to fit a Nalgene while still holding a bottle. The build quality is fantastic and I could not have asked for better materials. I've appreciated the design style so much that I'm seriously considering buying another bag soon.

Perfect for my field job as it is sturdy and built to last. Spacious for everything I need to carry while not looking bulky. While it does have an outside pocket..it would be even better if it had an additional small pocket outside for keys and change.

Love this backpack. It's sleek, professional and well-made. There is a lot of room, and I am so happy about the dedicated laptop compartment - perfect for my 15" MacBook Air or my 14" MacBook Pro with still enough room for the 16" MacBook Pro but not too much-wasted room. The water bottle holder is substantial. The only addition I suggest for the next version is dedicated pen holders for us who still use pens :)

A birthday gift for my son. He picked it out and it was just what he wanted. It lives up to his expectations and he couldn't wait to get it and use it (literally!). His birthday is not until September, and he still loves it!

Just started working so bought the bag for everyday commutes. The bag is great and extremely comftorable with the extra padding. Wish it was slightly a little bigger to fit items in but otherwise great bag!

The pack has been a great investment for airport use and locally. Enough separate pockets without creating a bulky bag.

It's so comfortable to wear. It carries all the essentials. It's roomy but the construction is tight so the weight is more kept close to my back. Much better than my old messenger bag or other laptop backpacks I've had. It feels 10 lbs lighter with all the same stuff inside. I wish the bottle pouch would hold a 32oz 4.16" diameter bottle. But a narrow 24 oz bottle fits great, so it's not a big deal. A pouch on the other side, for and umbrella, would be great.

Backpack came quickly and seems well-made. Have only had it a few weeks but no complaints so far and I'm enjoying how thoughtfully designed the various compartments are without becoming too constrained by the comparmentalization. Also have friends who have had this pack for years and travel for with with it often that have appreciated the build quality. Additionally, it's one of the few laptop focused packs in this quality range that supports a 17" laptop, which is nice. Would definitely recommend.

I've had this bag for about 2 yrs now. It's exactly what I want it to be. I literally searched for 6 months trying to find the perfect backpack that could transition between everyday work, work travel, and personal travel. I bought and returned several and tried out dozens of others in stores before going with the Authority. What I love: durable, stylish, water resistant, organized, and a slim profile. The profile is what drew me to this one and I'm very happy with it. I don't like the look or feel of a giant bag sticking out from my back. If you are a minimalist packer, you can get a 2 night trip in this bag. I go with my 2 changes of clothes in a packing cube and my dop kit in the large pocket, plus the laptop sleeve and front pocket for everything else. Longer trips paired with my aluminum Away bag keeps everything looking good and feeling smooth. Seriously, best backpack ever, at least for me.

Use for day to day and when traveling. Perfect size for both events. Great quality and comfortable when traveling through airport.

My first Timbuk 2 purchase was a messenger bag which retired after I did, it still looks new. My second purchase was a sleeve which is no longer made. Awesome product & looks new after more than a decade in service. Next I bought the copilot bag which has been everywhere with me, love it & yes it looks new even after the baggage handlers mishandled it. My new backpack arrived in time for a flight and like everything else I have from Timbuk2, it exceeded my expectations. I was actually afraid it wouldn't fit my needs, oh how wrong I was! Excellent design, extremely tough. I'm delighted with it & sure it will outlast me!

The bag is great. It packs things close to the body and has great protection including at the bottom for my 16 inch MacBook Pro. Love the different areas. Could us a system inside one of the areas for pencils, cards, etc like on the messenger bags, but that is a minor quibble.

Great purchase. Halter lot, compact, very comfortable. I no longer get back pain.

I use this for day to day work activity. It is my third purchase from Timbuk2 and the quality and design is excellent. Highly recommend their products.

Use for work. Laptop pocket holds computer and tablet. Great size and set up. Love the luggage strap and water bottle holder. Fits perfectly on my Co-pilot luggage and rolls down the plane aisle.

Great backpack! I'm able to fit all my essentials and it doesn't look bulky.

Bought these for the whole company and got them custom embroidered with our logo. I've had mine 3 years. It's circumnavigated the globe several times and it's still as good as the day I bought it.

It's a great work backpack, especially for travel. The padding for the laptop is really high quality, and the pocket functionality is great. My only dislike is that the water bottle holder does not fit 32oz.

I gifted this to my husband to be able to carry everything he needs to for work and he absolutely loves it. It's super functional and looks very professional.

Great for commuting to work. It safely holds my 16 in laptop, accessories, a big notebook, water bottle and my lunch. It's comfortable on my back.

This bag is great. Light, comfortable and can hold a fair amount of "stuff". ore than I would have thought it could and it's not bulky. The zippers and "handles" are great. One very minor complaint;, the zipper on the smallest pocket is hard to get to, why they didn't use the same little "handle" is a bit confounding. I added a little hook. again, perfection is a dream, keep dreaming and do it! Then dream again...

Great backpack for work. Holds a lot of items and is very organized. The material on the bottom is a nice touch.
