Awesome bag. The shape and size are perfect. But the best thing is how the front flap opens COMPLETELY so you can get 100% view of what's inside without having to dig your hand down like with the average backpack design. The only thing that's frustrating is the front pocket it's deep but extremely tight, making it awkward. But if that made the perfect dimensions of the bag possible, it's totally forgivable.

Purchased this bag for work. Had a over the shoulder messenger bag, but double strapping is much better for my back. Bag is comfortable. Should straps are are nicely padded, as well as the separate computer compartment. The Eco Nightfall color is subtle and matches all of my work attire.

Perfect shape and size.

It is a perfect size laptop backpack for a petite 5"3" woman. I wanted to have an upgrade from a 10 year old Kanken backpack which I love but now my 13 year old niece wears it too, may not be suitable for a professional adult anymore. After researching and few trial and errors, I found the perfect size and as a bonus, it also fits 16" macbook and has great paddings for the shoulder and the laptop so I don't need to have a separate laptop bag. Love it!

This backpack is the ultimate every day carry bag. It's well constructed, has intentional storage throughout and is versatile. I have used it daily for over three years now and there is hardly any wear to it at all. It also looks professional and is appropriate in all types of settings.

Using it as an everyday daily backpack and loving it!

I took this backpack on a business trip a week after I bought it, and it was almost perfectly suited to my travel needs. It held my laptop and all my various travel items with room to spare, while keeping them easily accessible, and it was a good fit for the space under the seat in front of me. It's light, and has a low profile, and looks professional. I only wish the water bottle sleeve were a little bit wider to more easily accommodate my water bottle. Great backpack!

Purchased as a gift for my brother's birthday! He uses it for school and it's perfect for his laptop and work.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my husband and he loves it! Versatile for work and travel! The travel strap on the back is perfect to put right on top of a suitcase!

Amazing backpack, use it everyday. Will fit 2 laptops if you need to. I use it with my 16" MacBook as well as a smaller 13" no issues. Biggest qualm is the water bottle pocket being way too small. I end up using the interior pocket for my 24oz water bottle.

Such a great, quality bag with surprising space. I love how you can slim it down or expand it via the buckles at the bottom. Shoulder straps are also super padded and comfortable for long-term wear. I unfortunately broke my sternum strap buckle when I got the bag early on, and rolled with it for about a year. When I finally got around to reaching out to Timbuk2 about the broken strap, they replaced it with zero issue. Great pack, great service!

This bag is exactly what I was looking for. Lovely padded pocket for up to a 17" laptop, a separate main section for books and papers, as well as a substantial third area with pockets for gadgets, power cords, phones, tablets, etc., and even more smaller sipped pockets on the front for miscellaneous objects. This has anything you could need in a utility bag for school/work. I love how the padding and straps feel, and it is very solidly put together. I had a Spire for nine years before needing to buy another bag, and I'm very happy I came back to Timuk2. This bag is very near perfect for me, but I do have a couple of issues. My main issue is the adjustment straps for the main shoulder straps. The plastic clinchers don't really hold the nylon straps and need to be pulled tight every couple of times I pick the bag up. This would be a bigger problem, but I like to fidget and adjust things so it's not a deal breaker for me. If it leads to larger issues like the wearing down of these nylon straps faster, then I'll have a bigger problem. The second issue I have with the bag is that the bottle holder is a little too narrow. Again, not a huge deal because I could always buy a new bottle. Just isn't great I have to spend even more money to have water with me. Neither of these issues are big enough to impact my overall thought on it though. 10/10

I purchased the backpack to use for work. I have to carry a 17" laptop. It works great. It is structured enough to not fall over and collapse and small enough to be comfortable carrying around.

I use this bag everyday to take a laptop to work and when I travel on planes for fun. It is perfect. Laptop is secure and the space is perfect for such a small space. The bag doesn't look big but can fit everything you need

This was a gift to my husband. After a lot of research, this was the best choice for a commute backpack, that can include gym clothes too, with a spacious interior without being too bulky. Just perfect!

This is my go-to backpack, replacing my other Timbuk2 backpack which has served me valiantly for years. This pack has some good new features: the waffle padding and the horizontal strap, which allows for easy attachment to my rollerboard suitcase. For its slim profile, I am surprised how much it can carry, and everything stays organized. The dark blue is very professional, and subtly stylish. My laptop is safely cushioned. Fantastic upgrade: watch my productivity soar now!

I used it every day. I put all gadgets, laptops, iPads and water bottles, lunchbox it fits well. In winter, I can also fold my parka and put inside, it also fits well too. It's a good looking, versatile and durable bag I have ever had.

I bought this as a gift for my husband and he loves it! It's sleek yet roomy and the organizational pockets are key. The side pocket only accommodates slimmer water bottles but it hasn't been an issue for him. Great purchase.

Great bag, and I feel like my laptop is secure and not hitting the ground when I set my bag down. Plenty of padding too. I just wish the sleeve for the water bottle was a little bigger.

Bag works great, exactly as advertised. Storage within is thoughtful and very practical. Bag can fit a sneaky amount of gear. I use as a travel bag for work purposes and it's exactly what I needed.

Great work bag with lots of pockets.

I have now had this backpack for 4 years for work and it has yet to let me down! Hardly any wear and tear and I've commuted for work on trains in terrible weather and also used this backpack regularly to fly with. Very comfortable and very durable for my everyday bag. Only reason I am looking at a new bag is because I need more space. This bag is absolutely fantastic, but my work now requires a little more bag space. I will definitely keep this bag in my rotation!

Just a magnificent backpack. I'm a big proponent of simple and clean luggage. This backpack can serve so many purposes: work week office bag, perfect carry-on travel companion, and weekend exploration pack. Crisp design with DEEP pockets. Use is only limited by your imagination.
