i really love everything about this jacket, except the hood doesn't stay snapped. not sure how nobody noticed this before it was put on the shelf. love the navy color. warm & super cozy. no problem with feathers like some other reviews. fits a bit bigger than true to size for me. i'm 5'7" ~120# 32 chest. ordered my usual XS. have plenty of room for layers.

After trying on different NF parkas i found different styles ran generous or slim I ordered a large to be on the safe side and it was huge, and very long. I am 5'3 and wear a size 8.

Received the beautiful red coat a week ago and am in love with it so far. This morning was zero degrees and I was so warm and happy!

Got the jacket earlier than anticipated. Very nice fitting. Would give 5 starts but as a tall woman (5'11") the sleeves could be 2 inches longer or would be nice to have the inside sleeve like other North Face jackets have.

Great jacket! It has definitely kept me warm on super cold nights. The color is great too. The only drawback is the sleeves are a little short for tall people.

Product is great for everyday wear. Seam tends to split and feathers fall out from the inside.

True to size , I love the looks and fit of the jacket . I got the one with the shiny sleeves and hood and I like that it’s a little different. Only complaint is the the hood . It has cheap plastic snaps and the hood is constantly coming off, they unsnap very easily . I might try to get a tailor to add a zipper or just sew it on , but at this price that’s a bit disappointing.

I use this as a casual every day coat. It's lightweight which I love and the lengths great also. I don't love that there are no snaps over the zipper. There were on the old Miss Metro version and certainly miss them on this While I do like this jacket I'm not sure there's anything more annoying than wearing my purse cross body and having the hood pull off every time I take the purse off. A zipper would've been great on the hood vs snaps.

I really like this coat. It's nice and warm so far for the winter. The urban blue color is great. However, the down is escaping at an alarming rate. Is there a way to get a material to stop that? Also, I can't put my cross body purse on without detaching the hood every time I take it off, which is an annoyance.

I was looking for a coat that would keep me warm without being too restricting during my daily commute. This jacket has been great! It is warm enough to keep me comfortable without overheating, and the extra length is great. I am 5' 7" 150lb and the medium has a little extra room for me and goes down to above my knees. The only cons I've seen so far are the sleeve openings are pretty drafty, and the velcro closure makes the fabric bunch up.

I am already seeing feathers come out during the first couple days of usage and I am not sure if that is normal. I wish there was more room in the chest. Otherwise I love the look.

I'm very happy I purchased this coat. With all the choices out there, this one is pretty solid.

I will wear it to work and on the weekends!

use it to walk the dog, easy to throw on

I'm an avid traveller whose really stubborn about not packing anything too bulky. In the past when going to international locations in winter, I'd just do lots of layers. Finally hit my peak and decided to invest in something that would allow me to stay out longer and not lose my core warmth. I decided on this coat for a few reasons: 1) covers my thighs and butt (I'm 5'8") 2) pockets are lined so my hands (and phone!) can warm up when it gets really cold out 3) the interior zipper pocket is perfect for my essential cash and cards 4) it's not as bulky looking as other parkas and allows me to still layer, but to keep my hourglass silhouette for my outdoor pics.

Nice coat well worth it

I really love this parka! I live in MN, so need a warm winter coat. This one is perfect! Great color too! I ordered a medium and it is a little looser in the torso than I expected, but will be good for layering and wearing bulkier sweaters. Arm length and general parka length are perfect! I'm 5'5'' and I think a small would have been too short in the arms.

So while it's still pretty much summer I can't really say how warm it's going to be, as I haven't been able to try it out yet. However, from what I can tell it's going to do the job! I tried it on and walked around for about 5 mins and was starting to sweat. I'm sure this will be great for Chicago winters. Only gave 4 because I haven't actually worn it in the cold yet. seems well made.

Beautifully well-made coat, but it is not true to size. Runs very small in the torso area. Sleeves fit perfect. I'm sad I must return this lovely coat.

Overall nice winter jacket. I do not find it as warm as I would have liked for the price. Also, I have a hard time latching the zipper which makes it less appealing.

Love the jacket. Hate that the hood keeps coming off.

I had the previous iteration of this parka and the zipper broke so I sent it to TNF to be serviced. They instead issued me a credit to get a new coat. The plastic snaps holding the hood comes off easily. The Velcro design on the sleeves feels poorly designed. I do not like the slightly longer length on the back, it's like one of those hi-low dresses which I'm not a fan of. I returned it and will seek out a different coat.
