Definitely buy this product again but in 1/2 size smaller
The carbon factor kept shoe stable but light
Very smooth & comfortable ride

Took me a little while to adjust to the model after using the Arahi 2 & 3 for the last few years. The show definitely propels you forward and helps improve my time greatly. The pair I got felt very narrow and tight compared to the Arahi in same size. I thought perhaps the company shipped me an incorrect size or a woman's version. I may go up a half size or full size on next pair.

This shoe does what I need it to do for longer runs. Good racing shoe for endurance road events of marathon distance or longer.

First run out of the box was a 4 mile easy with strides after. Enjoyed the cushioned but firm ride. Started at slower paces (9:00) and the shoe felt a bit clunky. Picked up the pace and the shoe really responded. Strides @ 6:20 pace and below were effortless. Really rewards your midfoot strike! I still think these are a little heavy compared to other marathon racing shoes so not sure I will actually race in these. Definitely will get a ton of miles in the build up process though.

Would like to use for day to training, but will need to see how long they last. The initial purchase price is high. May find a cushioned less expensive trainer. Could save these for timed events mostly. Need more exciting colors.

Looking for a shoe for the gym and saw this on sale. Great Hoka comfort, as you would expect, but the upper was just loose canvas. I still wear these shoes when I am out, but I cannot imagine using them for anything athletic.
But they do look sharp.

These are a comfortable shoe but if I didn't know they had a carbon plate I'd think they were a regular Hoka shoe. I was seeking more responsiveness that these shoes just didn't deliver.

They are more narrow and less long than I'm used to in other pairs of hokas I've worn on the past. Hopefully they break in but so far they are pretty restricting

I can only trott at most till I get pain injections in right knee and I walk but when I develop pace the midsole sponges out to the side causing knee abirations.

Very comfortable running shoe. My only complaint is that the back of the shoe digs into my heel somewhat. I have a pair of the Carbon X2's and Hoka corrected the issue in the update.

I was hoping for a more comfortable run. I love the aesthetics of the shoe, but the feel when running is underwhelming. The carbon plate gives the shoe a weird stiff feel, maybe Hoka improved this with the x2.

Fits fine, not as "cushy" as the Biondi.

I first tried the women's version was was too narrow so I then tried the men's. However, I did not see any difference between the two except for the color of the shoe. So to the ladies it appears if we are becoming second class citizens as women's feet are typically more narrow at the heals and wider at the front. So how can shoes designed for men fit properly? It is more like a way to cut down manufacturing costs. The material on the upper part of this shoe is terrible - it may be light weight but it does nothing to keep your foot in place. The foot slides all over the place. Accident waiting to happen. I do really like the carbon plate in this shoe - if it were fitted with a different material on the top it would be wonderful. I can also see the uses for this type of shoe for someone with arthritis in the midfoot or toes if they used different materials for the top part of the shoe as the shoe does not bend as much because of the carbon plate.

The description said D width Medium?? The toe box was incredibly wide. They were so cute, but I had to return them.

The shoe is bit tighter in broadness, even though I ordered as per my true fit size

These shoes were excellent. They were stable and very fast. They make your feet feel like they just wanna roll and they dare you to push faster. For me though, after a few miles my pinky toes started heating up. After about 10K running in these was unbearable. I WISH THEY MADE THESE IN A WIDE! If you have normal feet you'll love there.

I just love my Speedgoat 4s and thought that I would try a road shoe. I purchased the Carbon X in my normal size 10 but found the forefoot to be very narrow. Still a fan of HOKA but need to try another road shoe.

The shoes fit however, the bottoms seem to small...I have other HOKA's and their bottoms seem more solid and wider.

My son did not like this shoe for his running because he said that "Alot of reviews on this product were said to be telling consumers that if you were to get the shoe, don't judge it on its first few miles, and while I wish I could have broken them in further, I only got about 5-10 miles in the shoe total because of the firm midsole. On top of the pain I got from the firm ride, the shoe felt a little too snug and not actually very responsive. To be honest it just felt like an incredibly light show to me, which was a great feeling but the pounding that I got from the firm midsole sealed the deal."

Product is ok , that's a minimun for a so expensive product ! Not sure for how long... But lead time for delivery is a nightmare: ordered the 2nd of December , received december 27th . It's not an exception, it was same thing for my Clifton earlier this year. Never purchase again on that website.
