Super light with serious support, combo that's rarely found. I run on pavement, and though I don't run long distance, (3 miles/day), my feet and joints are sensitive due to high impact sport I did at a professional level earlier in life, and in these shoes, I have no problems.

I have been wearing Hoka's since 2014 many of the different models starting with the Cilfton1 thru Cilfton6, Tracer, Hupana, Huwaka, Mach, Clayton, and I have liked them except for a few in between but thats another story. So I decieded to try the Carbon X after hearing all this hype about the Nike 4% and Next% and I truly like the Hoka Brand and I truly love the shoe it is soft since I am a bigger runner at about 200lbs and I have been consistant running a 8 to 8:15 training pace and the shoe is responsive as well no hot spots and I have run back to back Saturday long runs of 13 plus miles each time with no problems at all and loved them hope to see more colors.

I have higher arches and narrow foot -so the toe box felt really wide. I went down a half size and
i really love them.

Best Hokas I've ran in so far.
This is a great all-around shoe to use for tempo runs, long runs, and cross training. The ride is firm as expected with Carbon-plate technology shoes. They are very smooth and quiet when you strike the ground. Beware when running downhill in them as they might rub against your toenails. They are capable of lasting you to over 400 miles if you train properly. I'd Strongly suggest more color options for this shoe.

So far I've worn this shoe 6 times and set 4 PRs. It is light, responsive and rides like butter. I find myself shaving 15-30 seconds off of each mile without expending any additional effort. The rocker sole and carbon plate come together to give you a smooth ride and explosive toe off. I have a few shoes in rotation right now and always look forward to putting these on and pushing myself. These are a total win for me.

I'm a 290 pound runner who has been jogging in the Bondi's. Now I'm running again. Love the cushion and how light these shoes feel.

At the beginning I got blisters in both feet. The process to get use to the shoes was a bit painful but at the end totally worth it. It had been a long time since I didn't feel a truly new characteristic in running shoes.

After about one month of listening to YouTube reviews and reading reviews from multiple websites, I decided on purchasing this shoe. I was not disappointed! The Carbon X is light weight, breathes easy and is a solid shoe. The rocker technology was easy to adjust to and I have taken over three minutes off my 5K time, which I owe to this shoe. The shoe is not bouncy or unstable like Nikes Next %. I have thoroughly enjoyed the Carbon X.

This shoe is definitely a speed shoe, but it doesn't compromise cushioning. The upper is very breathable and durable. It is a little narrow but doesn't affect my feet. It is a very stiff shoe and has a lot of cushioning, I mid-foot strike, so this shoe feels really good. The outsole is really durable, and that carbon fiber plate really gets you moving.

Took a couple of runs to get use to the stiffer feel of the carbon plate, but I absolutely love the shoe. It will be my choice for upcoming marathon.

Ran a10k with no foot pain next day. This model has a propel you forward feel. At mile 4 I was mentally at ease with the cushion that I ran the exact same pace in the 10k as I did in the 5k last week with a different shoe. Bought at Fleet Feet Orlando.

What a surprising first run on these wonderful shoes. A few new PRs on a familiar route in usual conditions: 1 km, 1 mi, 5 km - all faster than I've ever run them before.
I definitely felt the advantages while running. My feet were flying in these light and comfortable shoes. Downhills were almost alarmingly fast and stable, without being jarring. Uphills seemed flatter than usual. Very fun run today.
I'm looking forward to putting miles on these, and testing their durability!
