Caused blood blisters on both sides of my feet and caused constant pain when running. Maybe this is because I have a wider foot but I am not sure. I have been running for years and these were the worst running shoes I have ever had. Will never buy again. After my feet healed I purchased New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v10 Wide fit and they are the best running shoes I have ever had. Just got another pair.

Clifton 5 was the only shoe on the market that relieved my foot pain, it was wonderful. But the slight changes in the Clifton 6 caused much plantar fascitis pain in my feet. I just couldn't wear the Clifton 6 without pain, so I returned them.

These shoes felt good in the store, but I noticed afterwards that one shoe was cutting into my arch. The pain was unbearable after several hours. I'm really disappointed. I wanted to invest in shoes that were supposed to be great for feet/runners, and ended up wasting a lot of money on these. I figured I couldn't return them after wearing them outside, so I made no attempt to. I should've worn them longer inside before taking them outdoors, and advise you to do the same. I read through some of the other negative reviews and noticed that someone else had the same problem with their shoes, so I wonder if some of these were messed up in the manufacturing process.

Shoes fell apart after 3 runs. Customer service completely unhelpful. Hoka produces poor quality products and I am going back to New Balance.

The shoes were fine, but a half size to big. I tried making an exchange, was sold the wrong size on the exchange, and it sat in your warehouse for 3 weeks, before the whole sale was refunded. My AMEX has not been credited.

The shoe construction and outsole are amazing; however, the medial edge of the insoles along the midsection of the shoe literally cut into the arches of both my feet. The first two runs (< 5 miles each) with the shoes were incredibly painful, although I hoped this would go away after they "broke in." My third run with the shoes was supposed to be a longer run (10+ miles), but had to be stopped short after I developed cuts along the medial edge of my arches where the shoe insole rubbed against my foot. As a test, I replaced the Hoka insoles with the insoles from my old Brooks shoes and the rubbing/pain was eliminated. The shoes (with my old insoles) now feel amazing while running, although I'm incredibly shocked by how painful they were out of the box. This is the first pair of running shoes I've ever owned where the shoe caused physical damage to my feet.

I tried to save some money and bought the Clifton instead of the bondi 6. Sent back the Clifton as they hurt my feet and spent the money on the Bondi's. All is well now

I have been purchasing the Clifton 5 in a 9 1/2. I ordered the same for the Clifton 6 and have multiple blisters. Not happy with these new Hoka's

I returned the shoes on July 2, 2020, because they hurt my shins. However, I have not received a refund yet. I am writing this on July 24, 2020. My order id is NA 431445.

I have been wearing Hoka shoes for years and I love them especially Clifton. This one, however, turned out to be the only one (and the first one) I was disappointed with. Clifton 6 has a very thin shoe sole. They are super light because of that but I almost feel unstable running (shaky footing). Materials seem thinner that other Clifton series and I feel like it's going to create some tear or holes sooner that I expect. I will definitely go back to older versions of Clifton or Bondi. I still buy Hoka shoes because I think they are the best out there for running or jogging but not Clifton 6.

Before I bought these shoes, I read a caption, "30 days guarantee plus free returns. The rubber in one of the left shoes appears to be detached, and I do not like the color of the shoes too. I tried to return them but it says that they are not refundable. I checked through the faq about whether I can return them, but when I clicked the link it did not work. I am so mad that I bought these expensive shoes but I cannot even exchange them.

I was extremely excited about purchasing the clifton 6. Felt really light for a shoe with so much cushion. Also seemed to propel you forward. My first run of 5 miles was great. Had a little soreness and assumed that I needed to just break them in. Previously i was running on sacouny so figured I’d ease into the next run. Ran two days later and had to stop mid-run. Walked home. By the end of the day, the top outside of my foot was in terrible pain and so swollen I couldn’t put shoes on. Iced my feet and took advil. Two days later I’m still in a lot of pain. Never had anything like that happen before.

After 1 use (3.5 miles) the shoe gave me a blister on the inside of my left foot. Ordered the wide shoe and the inside is curved up. After the second run (8.5 miles), the curve of the inside of the shoe turning my foot outward caused an injury to The inside of my left calf. The cushion is nice but I fear injuries come with use.

I wanted a good pair of road shoes so I tried these out. They felt good at the shoe store, but after only a few minutes of running my arches hurt to the point I can't run more than a couple miles in them. Tried several runs hoping they just needed some miles to get broken in but no luck. I don't even like wearing them around the house, they are that uncomfortable.

I have worn the shoes and put less than 10 miles on them. Fit was good. Unfortunately, the black treads have pulled away from the sole of both shoes. Very Frustrating....have reached out to customer service.

It's hard to believe that these are considered running shoes. They are NOT fun to run in. Unless you like to run really slowly. I would only consider buying these again if I were 95 years old with a double hip and knee replacement.

First and foremost, this shoe's sole is by far the best out of any running shoe. These are the lightest running shoe I have ever worn. The sole feels like you are running on a cloud. No the negative. I wear a extra wide width (4E) shoe. Unfortunately, Hoka only makes a 2E shoe. It wasn't wide enough to support the outside of my super wide feet. And before you judge, I am 5'8", 175 pounds with a athletic build. I would still recommend these shoes to any runner, but unfortunately they didn't work for me.

I ran in these shoes once, and they are terrible! The thick inside foam makes my foot push outside into the mesh. I can't even walk around in these shoes during leisure time they are so uncomfortable. Who would design a shoe like this? It is supposed to be a neutral shoe for people who don't pronate. It is not. The insoles dig into my instep arch. Hoka puts a huge ridge on the outer edge of the insoles so all around the instep and the sole of the foot are not natural. Horrible design and feel.

Bought these for general purpose wear. They were very disappointing in fit and feel. The toe box is too small for the size. It appears the last they were made on produces a negative camber Such that your interior toes are canted inward, (pigeon toed) or perhaps the guy who made them was cross eyed. The top covering fabric is very thin, so the "feel" is not substantial or secure. I ordered these from REI since their stores are closed now. I would to never order this brand without having the ability of trying them on. Perhaps another style, size would fit better, but do not go by the size you normally buy. Since REI is closed it will cost me extra to send them back and my only option is to wait until their stores open. Hopefully they will.

Cheaply made. Logo is a cheap sticker. It feels like it's stuffed with styrofoam, and no way they would last more than 100-200 miles. Own about 30 pair of shoes, these do not make the cut. So much hype behind this shoe. Ugh, what a waste.

These don't fit as well as an older pair of Hoka Clifton sneakers I have in my closet. NB 1080s seem to fit my foot better and I'll be returning the Hokas and ordering the NBs .
I'd also recommend:
NB 1080s

I have logged 18 miles in the first week and I am getting horrible blisters on my toes. The toe box is cutting into skin. These are not working out. Totally disappointed.

I have logged about 18 miles in a week and the toe blisters are ridiculously painful. The toe box is grinding the skin away. Great sole cushioning but I don’t see these working out. Utterly disappointed.
