Your shoes run extremely narrow, even the extra wide. Not recommended for anyone with medium to wide feet. Overall quality of shoe is poor.

I had never ran with Hoka's before so I decided to try them out. The first 2 months were pretty good. I just run about 20 miles a week, so nothing major. I did feel the inside sole rubbing against my foot every now and then, but nothing major. But then one day it all just went wrong and after my 5 mile run both my feet were blistered. I was so disappointed because until then I was pretty happy with them. But I am a college student and I can't just buy new running shoes all the time. So, I am stuck with these for another 2 months til my birthday. I wear band aids every time I run now. I aslo pray before I run that is wont blister on the run. I probably will try out some Brooks when I am able to get a new pair of running shoes.

This shoe was not as good as Bondi I had before. First pair I got had a structural failure as eight shoe was feeing odd. Customer service was very good and send me a replacement that is better but still doesn't offer as much support as the other Hokas I have had.

First month of use was great. After that the inserts kept moving around inside the shoe while running making it quite uncomfortable.

I bought last year’s Clifton and LOVED it! I’m VERY disappointed in this one. It doesn’t have the same amount of cushion, it’s not comfortable. and it’s too big. I’ll be returning.

Not very comfortable. Hardly any arch support. Felt narrow in the footbed.

The heel has a weird feel to it. When stepping it just feels like it has too much give compared to the brooks ghost. Thought I'd try these, but will go back to the brooks ghost since they seem to me to have a more consistent feel from front to back in the shoe

I really love an older version of the Clifton, but this version with side seaming that runs along the side of your foot were not for me - they caused rubbing. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

I owned the original cliftons. Had 2 problems with them. Just bought the 6's, and the problems are exactly the same! 1) you will have to replace the insoles or they will blister your arch on the bottom of your foot raw. 2) they are like running in quicksand....they suck your energy into the ground. I run 20 seconds a kilometer slower than any of my other 8 pairs of shoes. The rincon is an awesome Swiss Army knife shoe that you can do everything in from short races to long runs. Buy that shoe!

I have run in the Clifton 3s and the clifton 4s without any issues. Matter of fact the Clifton was my shoe of choice for long runs. I ordered the Clifton 6 and ran a couple of times in them. I developed major rubbing issues on the sidewall of my right foot the point of blisters. Never had this issue with previous models. Had to return.

It is too narrow & my feet are wider so I would like to get a wider pair of Cliftons and return my unworn pair.

I had high hopes for the clifton 6. I like the 5, in mens 13 wide it fits my wide foot well. Saw reviews saying the 6 is softer cushioned and even wider than the 5. The 6's cushiong feels fantastic, but the fit is way off for me, even in the wide version its longer, narrower, and pointier than the 5. Theres an inch of length in front of the toes, back of heel is loose, and its narrower than the 5 at the metatarsal heads, lateral side of foot hangs over the sole, so cant size down. VERY disappointing, Hoka. Will return.

They come know where close to replicating my previous pairs. In fact, the new pair (following the original return) is sized differently on each shoe. I'm fatigued by them not getting it right!

The platform just felt too narrow for my running pattern. I prefer the Bondi. I returned and just ordered Bondi 6.

Had high hopes for Clifton 6 never having run in HOKA's before - the fit around my ankle bones rides too high and rubs the ankle on either side of both feet - tried them for multiple runs and now have to go back to my old favorites - may be too late to return them - may be find for someone, just not me. Loves the cushioning but still not right.

Just too darned narrow. Easily as narrow as the Vanquish 2 which put my toes to sleep when running. These will be going back and I might try a wide or go with another shoe. I wish the Clifton 2 was still around!

Do not like them. They try to force your walking gait which is unnatural. Way too much cushioning. They’re going in the bin after wearing less than 20 miles.

The only amazing thing was probably the most cushion that I have ever had in a sneaker. Support was lacking and quality was the worst sneaker I have ever purchased. I saved my sneakers to start wearing on a trip to visit family, I tossed out my old sneakers (that were amazing and lasted more than a year) for the Hoka because I have heard that it was like walking on a cloud...that was very true (expect a cloud with no support, easy to roll an ankle). I have been wearing them for about 6 weeks now and I am not a runner or a big walker (less than 5,000 steps a day) and 4 days ago I went to put them on and I noticed the sole is starting to peel off (I have never had that happen before) and then a closer look, the stitching around the shoes (on top) was coming apart. For the price of these shoes, I have never been so disappointed. I may have gotten a defective pair, but at the price of them, I will not buy again. I am staying with the Asics that last me 9-12 months and don't fall apart. I wish they had held up because I got used to the lack of support and loved how cushiony the Hoka's were. Just an FYI, I usually don't do reviews, but I feel a bit taken by these sneakers and felt I had to share my experience.

I wore the shoe 3 tunes for 3 miles and the bottom already started wearing out. Either this shoe is defective or the clifton 6 line was made with cheap material.

I bought this shoe online without getting to try it on first. I had high hopes, as I wanted a new shoe that was plush and full of comfort for long walks. The shoe looked amazing in appearance, as I'm not too crazy about wild color schemes. When I tried it on though, I knew immediately it wasn't going to work for me. The toe box was a little tight, but the arch area was dreadful. The foam was rigid and cut into the bottom of my foot. It was much too narrow, and I don't consider myself to have a wide foot at all. I tried to wear them a couple of times to see if they would break in at all, and they did slightly, but it was never going to be enough to be the comfortable shoe I was seeking.

Overall ok for cushioning but very uncomfortable to medial side of sole. Tried with insole also but still can't run more than four miles in it. Had to return them. Love their cushioning, hope Hoka will improve sole design for people like me.

Caused blood blisters on both sides of my feet and caused constant pain when running. Maybe this is because I have a wider foot but I am not sure. I have been running for years and these were the worst running shoes I have ever had. Will never buy again. After my feet healed I purchased New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v10 Wide fit and they are the best running shoes I have ever had. Just got another pair.
