Unfortunately, I am not a runner, Ive had 4 total knee replacements on my right leg and am barely able to keep my balance. I have worn b Brooks Addiction shoes for a very long period. I put them on when I was working and have been retired for 24 years. They give me the stability that I require. I will not change unless someone comes up with a better shoe. (Not Likely)

I ordered what I wanted and am satisfied. I usually order New Balance but apparently the model I usually order was not available, so one shoe store suggested purchasing Brooks. I do believe they were a bit on the expensive side, but they fit and feel comfortable.

Ive been a big fan of the addiction. Walkers for a very long time. This is my first time buying the black Velcro. It is so ugly I returned it. I am very disappointed that you no longer make the suede version of this shoe.

At first, they were slipping on the heals, given Velcro not higher-securing laces, but all is well now. I do use Medical Grade inserts. These are (foot doctor recommended) quality shoes that are great for farm chores thus foyer carpet placement. I will be buying laced for street shoes.

Nice shoe, comfortable. I am on my feet a lot plus I wear inserts for my feet. My third pair of Brooks because to me Brooks are the most comfortable. I would have rated a five star, but nothing is perfect.

Comfortable shoe but not slip resistant at all. I bought these to work in (Chef) but its impossible because they are very slippery. I wear them around the house now. 140$ lesson learned.

My husband quite liked these shoes. He said they were very comfy but found them a little heavy.

This is my second pair. The first is still usable but after two years, I notice reduced cushioning (expected with age). The flap on the toe is no longer stuck on and the Velcro doesn't work as when new. But I use the shoes now outside when the weather is hard on shoes (rain, snow). The new ones will be good weather walking shoes and the most significant feedback is I bought a replacement pair.

excellent shoe. easy to put on and take off. rated a 4 because plastic/rubber covering from sole up to top of shoe comes unglued/unfastened.

I use this shoe only for walking, not running. I walk 2.5 to 3.5 miles at a time several times a week in 45 min. to an hour. At 80 years old, I don't bend over far enough to tie laces, but the Velcro straps work great. They fit well. I have 3 pair now. Don't change anything. Along with Good Feet orthotics the combination reduces my foot neuropathy somewhat. The Good Feet folks introduce me to Brooks. When I was a runner in the 80's I ran in Brooks shoes. Ron Kock

This is my second pair of these shoes. I love Brooks shoes, but this pair squeaks when I walk! My other pair has never squeaked, so not sure why this pair does.

I had an older model that worked fine. I am still getting used to the new model. I hope it works as well as the older pair. If so, I will give 5 stars. I use them for brisk walks of at least 4 miles.

Not a runner, just an old guy that likes the support. These are pretty much like the last ones I had, but maybe just a bit smaller. Or my feet expanded... For walking, standing, working, pretty much the only shoe I can tolerate at this point.

Very comfortable walking shoe but still feel stress on my feet in I’m having to stand in one place for a time and they are a little tight around the toes(should’ve gotten a wider width). Overall they live up to their name as a good walking shoe.

The shoe felt shorter and tighter than most 14ee shoes I have. They are well made and heavy duty so maybe when the get broke in they’ll be better

I have been wearing Brooks Addiction Walker shoes for years because of foot pain when I take walks, I don't like the changes that they have made in the Walker 2. I own four pairs of the regular Walkers and they have been great shoes and still are wearing good for their age, no rips or any other defect. The new Walker 2 seems cheaper and is not the same in materials, sorry but I am looking for another style of Brooks. I just ordered the new Adrenalin GTS21 we will see how that goes. To sum it up they should not have made changes to the Walkers they worked fine and have lasted me almost 3+ years now, and I walk every day in them just replacing my orthotics from time to time. That is just how I feel sorry I am old school, "don't mess with something that works". It's like a movie sequel not as good as the first one.

Addiction Walkers are the best shoes ever for my feet. The v-strap model is slightly less tight than the lace-up models I've owned for years but they are super convenient. I wear them to work and exercise walk in the lace-up models. I am VERY disappointed that you can not get either in brown suede any more. Please address this issue.

Amazing shoes for my 24 year old son with Down?s syndrome who has a super wide foot. The lining did come off from the bottom but no big deal. A perfect shoe.

I like the way they look, the style. I like the straps. They have good, moderate arch support. I can't say how comfortable they would be for you. I have neuropathy no shoe is completely comfortable to me. The ad says the shoe has leather uppers but the shoe feels like plastic to me.
