After I tucked my sweatshirt into my sweat pants, put my safety glasses on and Velcroed up, I was complete. These shoes will take you anywhere you desire, comfortable and reliable. Treadmill or Costco, you got it. I wish they were a tad wider and a little heavier, but as is, amazing.

The shoes are for my 98 year old dad, they are comfortable and stable. He likes them!

I love the shoes. I tried a couple of different makes but they did not work. I had a stroke and they were recommended by a shoe store. I have to buy two different sizes because of I must wear an AFO on one foot and a regular shoe size on the other.

A little tight, but will stretch. Long lasting shoe! This was a reorder as I liked the first pair so much.

These shoes are easy to put on and wear but they don't have much give. Definitely not a "cloud step" the insoles are not comfortable. Nothing comes in wide with a non slip sole. I live where there's ice half of the year and I was trying to get comfortable shoes WITH a non slip sole. Still searching... At least they do have non slip sole and I won't fall on the ice but I would appreciate plush insoles and a wide option.

I bought these to replace older pairs that wore out. Getting harder to find. For everyday use, not specifically for running. I've always liked the Velcro straps.

I also have the exact same model with lace ties, but I got a velcro pair because I have nephropathy issues and some days I need to make it easy to put on my shoes.. The annoying problem is that they squeak like crazy! These are brand new shoes -- right out of the box! This shouldn't be happening.

Love these shoes. There are easy to get on and I don't have to tie the shoes.

I'm sad to say these shoes never made it past the bedroom door because the seam near the toes is placed such that it pressed painfully on my toes. I could not wear them and had to send them back. Previously, I owned and wore these shoes for several years with no problem. Had hoped to do the same with these. Too bad.

Well, I'm 78 and don't run, but I do walk! The Brooks brand was recommended to me by a nurse affiliated with my Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage Plan. So, I bought this appropriate laceless walker to care for knee arthritis and I find it most comfortable with little strain in "tying my shoes" by using the velcro straps. Now...if Brooks would come out with a zero rise white exercise-class shoe, also with velcro straps, that will make my century!

I'm 87, so I don't run, I walk. Have had several pairs of Brooks Addictions previously and have found them to be more comfortable than any other mark or model. They fit well around the heel, have a roomy toe box (very important for me) and are lasted so as to afford good, steady balance .

Returned them right after receiving them.
Way too heavy. Very little breathe-ability. Straps couldnt tighten well enough to make comfortable or feel safe.
Bought a pair of Ghost 15 instead and love them for walking.
I use the Adrenalin line for Pickleball, both outdoor and indoor, and theyre fabulous.

I need a very stable shoe due to my severe neuropathy. I have to fit an orthotic brace into the shoe. My special needs may negate the validity of my review, but I do find the shoe a tight squeeze.

Just came back from an 8 day trip to Washington DC which involved a lot of walking. Overall the Addiction Walker V-Strap 2 performed relatively well. This is my first pair of strap shoes, during the 5 hour flight it was very convenient to be able to tighten or loosen velcro straps when needed. Straps held tight durning the whole trip. Shoes were fairly comfortable and my complaints are 1) shoes retained heat, not made for very hot weather, and 2) insoles in my opinion are too thin and will probably require replacement in a relatively short time. I have other less expensive walking shoes that in my opinion performed better.

These shoes are great for walking around on concrete. They feel true to size and width. I haven't noticed any joint pain while wearing them either! I also love the fact the straps are good for an easy on and off, or tightness adjustment. The icy white is very stylish too. I'm raking in compliments every time I wear them!
I'd also recommend:

After finding the right size, the shoes are great. No need to break them in. I did not realize the first pair I received was in a mans width & settled in 1/2 size larger than usual size.
Indoors, my shoes are usually off, so the strap gave me guick & easy, on & off.
Wish that shoe store purchasing was a better option instead of internet. Stores around me only carry running shoes. At 85 I have given up running.
