Firm support for heel, comfortable insole that accommodates my custom orthotic, and surprisingly lightweight. Solid leather upper so I can wear them in the rain. Two thumbs up.

I love the things. They are pretty much all I ware. I got them soaked the other day. Dried them out, put them on and you would never know they got wet. I read a few reviews asking if Brooks would bring the original Addictions back. If the originals are better than these they must be something. The big test is how long they last. Can?t answer that yet. I walk a minimum of 3 miles a day. So far, no signs of wear.

I have been buying these sneakers for 5 years. And no more plantar fasciitis. The new design on the addiction Walker 2 is alright. The leather feels lighter though. This pair doesnt squeek!

I didn't buy them for running. I'm 76 years old and on my feet a lot. They offer great support and my back feels better.

I walk 3 times a week about 3 miles on each walk. These shoes have the best arch and overall support and never need "breaking in", I can wear them right out of the box. I have wore this specific brand for years. Brooks, please keep making them.

Did not like this shoe, returned it. Did not like the leather, or the new insole. Very dissatisfied with this new shoe.

Really cute and comfortable. I bought these for my nursing school that requires all white leather sneakers/tennis shoes for our uniforms. I have one other pair of Brooks (Ghost 12 GTX) that I wear for 10 hour shifts at my current pharmacy job. These are equally comfortable and sizing runs the same. I debated sizing up since these are leather, but I'm glad I didn't. My feet aren't truly wide, but they're too wide to wear brands like Nike; the normal width Brooks fit me great. The leather is flexible and doesn't require breaking-in. I hesitated to buy these because they are not sold in stores around me, so I couldn't try them on first, but I'm glad I finally did. They look slightly chunky when worn with leggings (see photos), but it's not so bad with my scrubs on. I never had the original Addiction Walkers, so I can't compare, but these seem very sturdy and like they will last me a long time. I've worn my Ghost's 40 hours per week every week since January and they look brand new still! Brooks are the way to go.

I have worn this shoe for the past 5-6 years almost exclusively. It is the only shoe I have found that gives me excellent support for my very high arches and over pronation problems. When that support begins to get softer, after about 1 year of continual wearing, one of my knees begins to bother walking and I know it is time for a new pair. I wish there were wider variety of styles of shoes with this kind of support but am so thankful I have these shoes.

My physical therapist suggested these shoes after my lumbar fusion surgery. The support and stabilization that these shoes provide have made a world of difference in managing my back pain. Great product Brooks!

This was a tricky shoe to get the fit right. Based on my normal size of 7 1/2 wide, Zappos recommended an 8 double wide. Well that size flipped right off my foot. I ordered my regular size and the length was indeed a half size too short but the wide was just fine. Zappos was out of 8 wide so I bought them directly from Brooks and they fit fine. Bottom line, go the half size up but stick with your regular width.

The fit was perfect but they were really heavy and didn't breath. I ended up returning them and purchasing the Adrenaline which is awesome.

I'm absolutely addicted to my new Addictions. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. In the past, I jogged in Adrenaline, but a recent knee injury prevented future jogging. So, I've walked in jogging shoes, but needed that extra comfort and support that I found in the Addictions.

I have worn these shoes for over 20 years. They were recommended by my podiatrist. So, when I ordered the new version I thought they would be the same support, etc. They are in no way the same shoe. I had to change to another one. Which, by the way are not as good either. I actually went to a new podiatrist yesterday. She told me she only wears Brooks shoes. But, she said the same thing about the new addictions. They do not have the same support. She recommended another brand. Which I do not like. The new ones are to narrow. So, Brooks, I wish you would still carry your old design also. For people like us who have problems with our feet.
