I have worn these shoes for over 20 years. They were recommended by my podiatrist. So, when I ordered the new version I thought they would be the same support, etc. They are in no way the same shoe. I had to change to another one. Which, by the way are not as good either. I actually went to a new podiatrist yesterday. She told me she only wears Brooks shoes. But, she said the same thing about the new addictions. They do not have the same support. She recommended another brand. Which I do not like. The new ones are to narrow. So, Brooks, I wish you would still carry your old design also. For people like us who have problems with our feet.

They are comfortable. I have a normal width foot but my toe bed area is wider and heal narrow. I wear a size 8 to 8.5 depending on shoe style. I ordered a 9 in this shoe as recommended on your site. My toes still seem a bit squished, making them less comfortable. I guess I should order a 9.5 but that seems really big.

Bought these for my Mom. She absolutely loves them!! Now to order some for myself!

I am not a runner. I was looking for a good walking shoe. I really like these so far, have only had them for a few weeks, but feel like they are going to be a good shoe. I can't wear my orthotic in them because the insole makes them to high. I dont really feel like this will be a problem going without.

I got these for working at the hospital and I absolutely love them! Keeps my feet from getting sore after long 12-hour shifts on my feet.

Unlike most of your customers, I am a 75 year old woman with a right drop-foot. Even though running is out of the question for me, my walking ability is crucial. Your shoes are not just beautiful but they support my right foot brace and necessary left foot elevation. It is wonderful to be able to walk with confidence and security. Thank you.

I have worn Brooks Addiction Walkers for years. I was really looking forward to the new version. After wearing the new Addiction Walker 2 for a couple months I really wish that I could still order the first version. I ordered several pairs of version 2. Too small, too big. Wore one pair for two months. They look like I have worn them for years rather than months. Second pair is holding up better but not the quality of the Addiction Walker 1 version. I like the better tread on the soles. Sorry but that is about the only thing that is better. Please work on version 3 and please make a better quality product. I depend on these shoes and wear them every day. After years of depending on Brooks for comfort and fit and quality I just hate to change brands and find a better made shoe.

These are great! I wear them for work on my feet all day, very comfortable.

i like the support that the Addiction Walker II shoe provides overall but it lacks arch support. I added an arch support insole to the Walker. I usually purchase the Adrenaline shoe which I prefer.

I love my new Addiction Walker sneakers. They are very comfortable and fit well.

The toe box is too narrow. The last pair I bought was wider and did not crowd my toes.

The shoe was too heavy. The leather material did not allow the shoe to breathe and it just didn?t feel like a running/walking shoe.

I buy the Addiction shoe not for running, but to wear as part of my uniform as a cashier at a grocery store. First, this is the only shoe into which I can fit my orthotics (depth-wise.) Second, they provide great support in every direction. As I have to stand for 5-6 hours at a time, 5-6 days a week, that is definitely a plus! Oh - and I'm 69-years-old and have had two knee replacements, so if these shoes work for me, they'll work for anyone! Do I wish they weren't so expensive? Sure, but it's true what they say - you get what you pay for, and this is a truly excellent shoe.

You ruined the shoe by adding fluffy padding to the insole. We want the original addiction back.

They are so comfortable I'm not looking to kick them off until the end of a day.. I'll not wear any other brand.. please keep this one style!! I love it!!

It's the same old Addiction, the last version was more appealing in look. Not the best looking shoe out there.

Had to buy a half-size larger for comfortable fit this year--although my foot hasn't changed! Overall, this has been a great walking shoe for me. I wear it almost 365 days/year!

An older friend of mine was having trouble with her ankles. I recommended these shoes, and it is amazing to see her legs recovering! Mobility is essential!!

I have worn the Addiction Walker in the past and it was a very comfortable shoe. I bought my usual size (7.5 D) and was very disappointed. They were small in length and width. They were not comfortable at all. I was very disappointed in this new addition.
