My spine doctor told me I should do a commercial for Brooks! After dealing with back and hip pain for about 20 years, a friend suggested Brooks. We were in a shoe store and I couldnt walk to the back of the store to look at them. From the first second I had no more hip pain and could walk up and down the aisles!! No doctor had ever recommended getting orthopedic shoes. Yet now I see that almost every medical professional Ive seen has been wearing Brooks. They reduced pain better than surgery and medications. I will be getting another spinal Cord Stimulator soon and know I will be able to walk about 10 times further with the combination of Brooks and the stimulator. It is like a miracle how much these shoes have helped me. I now have 4 pairs. Worth every penny invested in my wellbeing!

These shoes are advertised as non-slip. I purchased these shoes to wear at my restaurant job and had to take them off shortly after due to sliding and slipping everywhere. Not only were they not slip resistant enough, but they were a bit narrow and stiff compared to other Brooks shoes I have purchased in the past Unfortunately I will be returning these and use Brooks brand shoes for normal casual wear only.

This is one of the few shoes that actually fits my narrow feet without having to lash the laces to my heels. I can ware them comfortably for hours.

Looks good in a work ensemble, but as for comfort it's a bad shoe on an 8 hour work day. No padding, no spring in the step. Would not recommend. 0/10 feet are sore every day from work.

I have this shoe in both white and black. I am not a runner. I have arthritis (Age:72) and have to wear supportive shoes. This shoe is comfortable, supportive and the basic colors go with any outfit I'm wearing. Wearing these shoes daily alleviates living in pain. I've been wearing BROOKS for 20years now. Best shoe for my feet which are extra wide. Thank you Brooks for making great products.

A lot stiff and very uncomfortable. Worst shoes I've ever worn. They just have no give and hurt to walk in them. I'll never buy another pair

I have Plantar Fasciitis in my right foot and my Podiatrist recommended this shoe. I placed the order and tried them on when they arrived. It was instant pain as I tried to stand up and walk, so I immediately returned them. The insole was too hard and stiff for my foot and sent a shooting pain up to my knee.

These are my everyday, everything shoes. I always have 1 pair each in black and white. I have severe osteoarthritis, including in my knees and feet. The Addiction Walker, with ties not Velcro, gives me the support I need to be able to walk without overpronating and without pain. I have only one complaint, which I've shared with Brooks a number of times over several years - please offer this shoe in the same dark brown you offer in men's sizes. I will not wear the nursing home-beige!

These are the most uncomfortable shoes Ive ever worn. My feet usually never hurt, but within 5 minutes of wearing these shoes my feet are dying. My feet even hurt when Im wearing them sitting down and I dont know how thats even possible. I normally never write reviews, but dont waste over $100 on these shoes like I did.

These sneakers are incredibly comfortable to wear to work walking and standing all day. I bought them in white and have gotten multiple complements on the style
of them.

I need a supportive everyday shoe for overpronation and plantar faciitis. I wear Brooks Glycerine GTS and they are pretty comfy. But need a pair of plain white shoes so got the Addiction Walker. Said max support. The shoes are so stiff I cant tie them tight enough for side support. Leather is so stiff and thick, almost rubber like. The color white is more a pale yellow against white socks.
Im thinking I have to return them since it may take all summer to soften up if they ever do and will also be too hot.
I had question a Brooks rep about sizing and she said to get my usual 8, and hard to tell because of the stiffness if I should have gone up a 1/2 or gone wide.

Excellent traction compared to my New Balance 928s. Very comfortable even when worn right out of the box. I use them as my walking shoes as they are good on any surface including gravel and wet sidewalks

I bought these for work. Its 2 weeks now and theyre still not broken in. I work 6 days a week,8-10 hours a day, standing up/ walking no sitting. So they should have broken in by now.

Based upon reviews I bought wide and I'm glad that I did, otherwise my bunion would not fit. The shoes are heavier than I expected and kind of stiff, as many reviews state. They also aren't "cushy"; I had to add a 3/4 insole to help. I have worn the shoes on walks for about 30 miles now and my pace is noticeably slower than normal - I'm figuring that is due to the weight of the shoes. They're too expensive not to wear, so I'm determined to accept the additional weight as an additional workout aspect. I'm glad I bought the wide version as it does successfully accommodate my needs and I hope to get many, many miles out of these shoes, but I do silently wish that they soften up a little.

Bought these March and didn't start wearing them until April and by June 13th both soles had come apart. So, if you are walking around a lot I do not recommend these. I got roughly 11 weeks out of them. Otherwise, I liked the look and feel

Thanks, Brooks designers, for keeping a leather shoe in your line up. This shoe is supportive when on your feet for many hours at a time. Also they are easier to keep clean and sharp looking than fabric shoes. And they stay drier when walking in wet grass, etc.
Narrow shoes are much more comfortable than trying to make do with medium widths. The Adrenalines I purchased at the same time are nice and comfortable for shorter periods only. The GTS leaked like a sieve walking in wet grass. My feet we completely wet within steps. And they are difficult to keep clean.
Ill buy Addictions again.

Overall shoe very stiff, may loosen up with wear. Leather feels more like plastic than leather. Not the comfortable walker I used to buy. I have only worn the shoes twice, however, as I said they may loosen and become more comfortable with more wear. I wear an 11.5 shoe with medium width. These are a bit tight in the toe box. Also need a shoe horn to get them on.
My suggestion, go back to your old design.
