size xxl :Found the sleeves very long, hip area fit great, and shoulders/chest area to snug when wearing a thinner shirt, no room for a sweater/fleece layer. The jacket style was nice and was well made. I bought because it was packable for travel.

Took a long time to get, set on hold a very long time trying to get update, then told me it was shipping the next day which it did not, finally received it and definetly could have wore 2x in this coat, i can easily ware xl in other tops, no room for thick cloths under this coat, i would have sent it back for 2x but the wait time was just to long i needed it for new job.

This jacket is very cute. It was exactly the style and length I was looking for. I am 5'4" and it hit mid thigh on me. I liked that it as a "thinner" puffer jacked but still was very warm. Unfortunately, it runs very small. I am so upset that this exact jacket isn't offered in plus size option. The only similar item in plus size was of course double the price and wasn't the thinner puff look.

I love the bright red for hiking and it not heavy weight so it's good for being active. I recently lost weight and still order xxl to have room and I could barely zip it so order a size up.

I like it because of the color, but its not suitable for Chicago fall weather, totally too thin, the recommendations for my sizes is off i should've sized up.

With 650 down, I expected this to be a winter jacket. It is a fall and spring jacket. Not good for under 30 degrees.
I had some trouble with the zipper and returned.
Very stylish, fit was good, and it almost pained me to return it because I liked it so much. Don't expect it to be a winter coat, because it isn't.

I bought this coat in July but the first cold day was yesterday. I like the coat but it won't zip, and now it is past the 60 day return limit.

DO NOT SIZE UP. If you are an actually medium a medium will fit. I sized up to a large and it was huge! It's very cute but I am giving it 3 stars because when I reordered a smaller size it had a weird smell so I went to wash it and when wet it smell like a wet dog. I let it air dry and it smells a lot less but I can still somewhat smell it.

It was probably my fault but I thought the coat was going to be more of a winter coat It turned out to be much thinner than I envisioned. I'll wear it for a spring coat. It fit a bit snugger than I like as well so the would suggest going up a size with your next purchase as I did. It's a nice coat but I live in Iowa and need heavier outerwear. Loved the color and style

I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this jacket. It's perfectly good if it's in the 40s, but it's totally insufficient around freezing. The zipper is also not super. It works, but it's finicky. Also, the sleeves are just a tad too short for me, so there is a gap between the cuff and my gloves, which is not ideal.

I haven't used this product yet as it hasn't gotten cold enough, but it's very thin so I am hoping it will be warm enough in the cold weather! It fits a little loose, but I am thinking it will be better when I am wearing bulky clothes underneath. I am also having some zipper issues and may need to return it for that reason.

Pulled it out of the clear bag it came in and was surprised at how thin it was. Advertised as a down jacket but couldn't feel it when squeezing it with my hand...and definitely didn't feel it when putting it on. Feels more like a long windbreaker jacket to me. I know lightweight and less bulk is the big selling point nowadays but this was TOO light for me. Also noticed that many of Columbia's coats/jackets don't have drawstrings. Not sure why but would be great if they did. I see that as a basic feature for any coat or jacket, especially designed to be down/insulated.

last year I bought an omni-heat fall jacket, and it appeared to be warmer than this one. Not warm at all, maybe only for cool weather. would recommend only for fall

I was slightly disappointed as I thought this would be warm enough for 10degree weather in Buffalo. I could feel the cold air through the jacket.
Also, had some trouble zipping.
I love the look and style of the jacket, and would have returned for a warmer jacket but had already taken off the tags.
Originally had the medium but not enough room for a heavy sweater so I returned and bought a large.

The jacket is nice -- it's light, warm enough for a Maryland winter, just the right length. What I don't like is the zipper -- it's hard to get going, and I am worried it might break soon.

The package that the coat came in was really thin and light. I opened it up and was disappointed with how thin the jacket was. It's hard to believe it's a 650 fill. I ordered the gray and when holding it up to the light, you could see the light coming through between the stitching. The material was extremely thin. I tired it on and walked outside on a 45 degree day and was cold. Based on other reviews, I sized up and glad I did as the medium fit well (I'm normally a small).

Jacket is more like a windbreaker, not a winter jacket.
