I had to return these shoes. Brooks Addiction have always been my favorite walking shoes (This was my third pair.) However, these were very uncomfortable and caused pain in the ball of my foot. Also, my orthotics did not fit in them as well as in my last pair.

I returned the shoes. The width was good but not enough cushioning.

They fit well but the right foot feels like there is a ridge going across the heel. Not sure what it is.

I've been wearing Addictions since they were introduced many years ago. The Addiction 14 is among the poorest models. It lacks the cushioning of the earlier models and is therefore lighter, offering little support. Every Addiction 14 has ripped on the inside near the ankles. That doesn't seem to affect the shoe's function, it just suggests that they are cheaply made, even though the cost $10 more than the addiction 13. I look forward to the Addiction 15. Perhaps it will be an improvement. The Addiction 14 is a disappointment.

The Addiction 14 does not have the stability of previous Addiction models. Looks great, feels great but I need the stability for my knee and back..

Just an average shoe, the cushioning for the heal is not as good as other Brooks shoes.

Had been wearing the 13, it fit great ! Got the 14 in same size and it was too narrow, sent it back.

Unfortunately the top of all of my bricks running shoes tend to tear a hole with my big toe sets. I end up putting tape on them to cover it. The last pair I bought I put tape on the inside to see if that will prevent it.

The fitment is good. Not the most comfortable shoe. Especially for the price.

As a trail runner with narrow feet, I'm loath to find anything that actually fits. My foot size is closer to an "A" than a "B" but all the trail running shoes are "D". This was the only "B" running shoe I could find. The tread on this shoe is nearly nonexistant and I doubt it will perform well on rocks and sand. The arch is a little flat and as I get a pinch/hot spot every day on the top of my foot after several hour of wear and have to take them off. But for the most part, they fit. I'm really looking forward to the 3D printed shoe lines that are being developed because, industry wide, the current offering for narrow off road shoes is abysmal.

Great shoe but they don't feel as good as the previous addiction series. I think I will be purchasing the latest Ghost series and try them out.

Comfort is not as good as the Addiction 13 because of the insole is inferior.

Different than the addiction 13. Just eyeing it up the width looks to be 3/16 off an inch narrower based on the rubber on the bottom. Regardless, it feels a lot narrower. Brooks 4e was always true to size not anymore. For the price of these shoes they had better fit well. Im disappointed they felt the need to change thre size of their shoes. The toe box also has done sort of stiffener to keep its shape now. I can't say whether this is a good thing or not as I'm returning. Brooks lost a loyal customer after 8 years.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks, NB, skechers

I have been wearing the Addiction for almost 5 years. This newest model is similar to others with one flaw. The rear center at the heel seems shorter or slipperier than earlier models. My heel slides up and down unless I cinch the laces extremely tight. I've only had a week with them, so I hope the slipping gets better with time and wear. Also, laces are much shorter and cheaply made than earlier models.

I haven't even tried them on....they are so ugly compared to all of my other addiction shoes...I probably have bought 10 pair in the past....these look like bedroom slippers....I know that addiction shoes treat my feet well...I just don't know why they decided to change the appearance on the toe of the shoe......it just looks so cheap!

Was hoping for a more supportive shoe. Was nice , but had to return as it was not what I needed for my Very flat feet. May order the Beast if I ever get my refund. You have the shoes now.

The shoes are comfortable to wear but not to listen to - they make very irritating squeaks with every step (both shoes). I expect better. My Addiction 13's never squeaked.
