fit was fine but the shoe didn't feel as cushioned as Addiction 13.

I need some better insoles. I have a prosthetic leg, so my insoles need to be extremely sensitive/awesome

Over the past two generations of this shoe the support has been reduced they are not supporting my foot as well particularly in the arch.

They fit very low on the ankle. the back of the Shoe is very low. I purchased some shoes before that fit great, these not so much.

The size 12.5 narrow fit bigger on me than the Addiction 13, especially in the forefoot. May need to round my size down on the next purchase, since the looser fit means more joint discomfort.

I?ve use the addiction series since the 13 And I have love them. The new shoe feels nice very light I love the complete construction of the toes. However the cushion for it seems already bad like a pair of running shoes that was already running I don?t know what cushion they are using now but I prefer the older models ofCushion

These were much too narrow in the toe box, contrary to the product description. I had to return for another brooks model that I d Much Narrower in the toe box than described. They instantly exacerbated Morton’s neuroma condition and had to return.

Width and size felt great. Unfortunately the mesh toe area wore through in under 2 months on one of them after daily use. On the right shoe, presumably from driving 45 minutes a day, the tread has fallen off in chunks. Very comfortable with very poor construction from a durability stance. If you want durable this is not the shoe for you, get some Keen's.

The toe pad molded in over normal wear and is a huge hindrance. I really don’t like how this shoe feels, but, big brooks fan otherwise.

None, but wish brooks would make this right. Poor shoe. I dread wearing them.

I've worn Brooks Addiction shoes for 10 years. With this new update, they've take all the support out of the heel. Yes they are lighter in weight which is nice. But I wear this shoe so I can walk daily. 2 years ago, they reduced the ankle support. Now they've reduced the heel support. It's no longer a max support shoe.

Mesh webbing replaced the rubber toe area on the Addiction 12. The Addiction 14's 3-D web fabric tears and now I have a half inch hole on the material.. This is a great design that is being downgraded by a change in materials used. I will need to update my shoes from a different manufacturer. Sorry.

I normally have no trouble with Brooks 11.5 xtra wide. Since the design change this year seems narrower in toe box and upper portion. They are not as comfortable.

I haven't tried any other brands.

I just couldn?t get past the looks. Big boxy toe and thick sole made the look like an Orthopedic old persons shoe. Not for me.

They are very comfortable but the high heel makes them very difficult to run in. I wish I purchased a different fit but I went with their system recommendation :(

Bottom line: I returned the 2 pairs of Addiction 14s and exchanged them for Cascadia 15s I'm sorry but this is the first pair of Brooks shoes I've owned over the past 21+ years I didn't just love. Note: From where I'm sitting, I see pairs of Brooks shoes; I'm obviously a diehard fan! Pros: *The cushioning was good and protected my joints. *The shoe is light with a good fit. That's what I've come to expect from this model and brand. Cons: *I received too much "print-through" of the gravel surface I run on to be truly comfortable. *The lack of an exterior toe band concerned me that the shoe wouldn't hold up to expected usage life. *Over the 9 days and 42 miles I used this shoe, the toe box actually began to break down. *The build quality is sub-standard with the Addiction models I've been buying up to now. I switched to the Cascadia 15 this morning for my first run. It feels much more secure on the gravel surface that makes up 40% of my daily outings.

The material around the upper edge is starting to tear and I have only worn them maybe 10 times, I also thought they would have more cushion.

I have been wearing Brooks Addiction for many years. The Addiction 14’s the toe box is definitely wider, and I need a half size smaller than usual. Unfortunately for me, I have had to return my 14s because Brooks reduced the tongue padding in this latest version. This is what Brooks is calling a "buttery smooth feel". For me, the "buttery smooth feel" is a very painful feel. The shoelaces rubbed the top of my feet causing blisters after the first run of just one mile. A Brooks representative recommended I try the GTS 20 since they still have the plush tongue. Hopefully, these will work since I go through about four to five pairs of the Brooks Addiction shoes a year.

The shoes look nice but are not 4E, at least when compared with other 4E competitors. 2E is more appropriate. The quality is Brooks quality, though.

This update to the addiction is a significant step back in a key area. It's subtle at first, but after wearing this for a while, you realize it's very difficult to get good heel "hold-down" with this shoe. It feels like the heel cup and material around the heel are cut lower so that even using special lacing methods doesn't work. Overall, just doesn't feel like this shoe works as well with orthotics, or for flat feet generally, as older models did.

The Addiction 14 is made in Vietnam (no longer made in China). It appears to made of cheaper material's and is much lighter than last years version. The cushioned insole is only half as thick as the excellent insole from previous models. I have worn both the Beast and the Addiction for years and this shoe is not in the same class as past versions. My first run (2 hours on pavement) tonight and not impressed. This is a major disappointment.

Returning, other than getting a pair with dog hair in the sneakers...(guess quality control is non-existent), they seem well built. For the price of these, I expect more!
