I prefer the previous versions of this sneaker for my needs. The tongue isn’t wide enough to cover when I tried to use my orthotics (pushed my already high I step up even higher). However, if you don’t need orthotics, they’re great as they are.

Felt bouncy and cushioned - but lacked arch support.

I loved the way these looked and had to get them! The only thing I didn't like about them is that because the laces are more like a ribbon type material, they tend to untie a lot. But they just look so freaking cool!

I have been wearing Ghost since Ghost7 (Ghost 8 was my favorite!). I always buy size 10.5 but these felt too short. My daughter had ordered 11, so I tried hers and they fit great. I have returned the 10.5 and ordered 11.

I have a Morton’s Neuroma and this brand was recommended as a choice for me. I loved the look and fit of this shoe, especially the wide toe box. There was plenty of room to accommodate my custom orthotic. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough padding for the ball of my foot so I had to send them back. If they had slightly more cushion they would have been a keeper.

Fit is perfect. So glad they changed the laces back to round. Much easier to tie tight.

I work for a podiatrist and many patients come in wearing Brooks. Some of the models can be stylish, but they are not hugely recommended in our office. I tried them out myself and cannot get past the sinking feeling I get when I am wearing them. They are true to size for me (8 1/2 regular width) and I have a wide forefoot where my toes are usually squished. The first time I put them on, I thought, "Wow! These are amazingly soft and comfortable and my toes have room!" Several minutes later I had to get them off my feet. The cushion underneath is just too much and I felt like I was simultaneously floating over the ground when I walked and sinking in way too much into the shoe. The drop was too extreme for me, almost like my gait was pitched forward when I tried to walk in these. They are also very cushioned on the top and sides of the shoe. That being said, if you have even slightly claustrophobic feet, these will feel like you are bathed in cement. They are thick all around. If you want lots of cush, these are for you. If you like stability, want to feel the sensation of ground under your feet, want lightweight kicks, I would look at the New Balance 880 v10. Those saved me, and I have lived in them all summer. (for the record, our podiatrist often recommends Adidas Nimbus with a custom orthotic)

I really like the cushioning on these shoes. Unfortunately, they placed my forefoot in a weird position which hurts my toes.

I bough this pair of Ghost 12 in black/ebony/valerian because it was more stylish than my other pair in peacoat/blue/aqua which I only used for walking/running. I expected the same shoe, but the upper part of this pair is in a different material, and I noticed subtle differences in overall fit and feel. It’s a very comfortable shoe, but I’m going to use this black pair as a more all purpose shoe and the peacoat solely for exercise.

I love Brooks Ghost, but I realize that I usually get the Ghost 11, which helps my plantar fasciatis, but this time you sent me Ghost 12, which I didn't think would be different.However, my knees and back are feeling the difference. I would like to find the same style. Sadly, I'm stuck with the Ghost 12's.

I sent these back. Too small and looked cheap. Plaid looked stamped on and not material. Brooks, please quit Messi g with your great shoes!

These are so overengineered compared to the Ghost 11. They feel great when you put them on, but the high level of padding ultimately is exhausting. I switched to the Brooks Adrenaline, which feels less cumbersome to wear and more comfortable.

I ordered a 7W in these but am sending them back for a 71/2 W because the length was slightly short and the very tip of the tow box still a bit narrow. They felt fairly comfy although I think I may still need to insert an orthotic for arch support. My podiatrist recommended either these or an ASIC. We’ll see. I may need to break down and go to a running store to be properly fit but I’m hesitant during COVID. I’m not a runner, but I aim to walk 2-3 miles each morning and have yet to find the perfect shoe.

I have problem feet and started wearing orthotics in all my shoes a few years ago. The orthotics also dictate that I wear a larger shoe size, especially in running shoes. I needed a pair of white running/walking shoes, and have had good luck with the fit and comfort of Brooks shoes in the past. I’ve found that they run about a half size short though, so instead of my usual size 8/39, I ordered an 8.5 in two Brooks models. I ordered both Adrenaline 20 and Ghost 12 on the basis of user comments on fit. The Adrenaline pair are perfect. I have a slim heel but need more room in the forefoot, and Adrenaline delivers on both counts. They hug my heels while giving my forefoot and toes room to spread. Conversely, the Ghost 12 model is cut narrower in the forefoot while the heels slip, pulling my sock off my heel. Ghost is being returned. Adrenaline 20 is staying right here on my feet. It’s a winner!

I've been a long time Ghost devotee, but this latest model feels narrower than previous ones. The toebox in particular is uncomfortable. Overall, great cushioning and support that one expects from Ghost.

Love the look of these and they would have been perfect but the toe box was way too wide for my narrow foot. I normally wear 8 in a running shoe (7.5 in sandals and boots) and these were also very long. Sadly I had to return them.

Loved the way these looked but the fit was too narrow and the support and comfort was not what I am accustomed to in my other Brooks.

I am a big fan of Brooks Ghost shoes. Owned 4 pairs of Ghost 10 and after I wore them out purchased two pairs of Ghost 12. The fit has more cushion than Ghost 10 which I really like; however, I have had both pairs of shoes for about three-four months and they are both showing a small tear near where you lace the shoes. (One pair on the right shoe and one pair on the left shoe.) I walk about 4-5 times a week 3 to 4 miles each time. Ghost 10 held up much better and I would expect to get at least 6-months out of these shoes.

I've worn Ghosts for ages but finally needed to replace my latest pair...don't know what happened but all of a sudden these just don't fit. I ordered an 8 and an 8.5 (typically am between these two in running shoes). The 8 was too small and the 8.5 felt like a pair of clown shoes (plus the pink and black combo was just plain ugly). Felt much narrower in the toe box than previous Ghosts

Fit was fine. I just didnt think it was as comfy as the other shoes i bought which were brooks adrenaline and asics gt 1000-9.

I normally wear an 8.5 in brooks. But not sure what has happened to the style because it seems all the Brooks style, like Glycerin 17 and Ghost 12 run short. I purchased a size 8.5 wide and the my toes had plenty of room. But my toes were all the way to the top. Not comfortable at all. So I returned and purchased a size 9. The length was good but for whatever reason I tested it on a treadmill and the bottom of my left foot burned. Brooks was my go to shoe but no longer. I have purchased others and dummy me tried them outside so my sister is very happy for my mistake. She loves the way the fit her. She is a 7.5/8 and size 8 wide and 8.5 fit her like a regular 8. I tried not thrilled so my next purchase is Altra and Newtons. I developed a nueroma so I need plenty of toe room but my heels are narrow. I find my feet have become so difficult to please. Soon as I find the right one, I am sticking to it. Thank you Zappos for allowing me to return with no hassle. I hate turning shoes. I get so excited just to be disappointed.

I really like this shoe but found that it runs small. Am returning for a size up.
