The fit was like other Ghost 12s but I just didnt care for this color on person. Looked like an odd combination together. The support and shoes seem good

These are my new favorites. Asics made me crazy, changing the fit of a style radically from year to year, and the toebox of all styles seemed to get narrower. I still had to go up a full size from a street shoe in this Ghost 12, although I think a half size is the standard, but the shoe is well cushioned, provides stability and has plenty of room in the toebox without the heel feeling sloppy. As a bonus, there are alot of color combos-something for everyone!

This is a nicely lightweight shoe. But for me it's cut too low in back, and the toe box is not as deep as that in the Brooks Ariel 18. I wish the latter came in all-black.

I have a pair of the same shoe in a different color that I purchased at a running hoe store. They are the most wonderful shos I have in my closet. The ones I bought from Zappos feel like a totally different shoe. Love the color but after wearing half a day my ankles were swollen and ball of foot was very sore. I think that the footbed insert was “off”. I will send these back. LOVE the color!!

I’m new to Brooks. My first pair were the 11’s. I personally felt there’s more cushion in the ball of the foot with the 11 then the 12’s. Great stability though.

With orthopedic inserts my foot sits a little higher in the shoe than I would like but in general I am happy with fit and will keep them.

Brooks Ghost have been my "go to" for running shoes for a few years now. My new pair just got here and has already gotten use. Overall I love them and they are super comfy and I did not notice them while running. Awesome! The drawbacks with this pair that I have noticed so far is not enough reflective material and the sole while grippy on dry pavement, was rather slick on wet pavement which took me a little off guard. Living in the PNW with a lot of rain and short days (darkness) during this time of year these were considerations to take into account. They were great on the run and spring is just around the corner so I will keep them but thought I would mention it in my review.

I’ve worn Brooks Ghosts for years, and these are mostly ok, except the heel cup in the 12 feels a little shallower than previous versions, and it feels a bit stiffer and snugger than the ones I’ve had before—maybe that’s just because I’m used to my old broken in (broken down) pair, and I’ll settle in after a day or two, but these are definitely not as comfortable right now as my other Brooks have been.

I generally wear Brooks PureFlow. (I’ll admit that I bought his shoe because of the cute buffalo plaid style.). This shoe is comfortable but seems to run a little short in length, so I’ll probably go with 1/2 size larger. The width in general Is fine, although I prefer the roomier toe box of PureFlow. The toe box on Ghost is a bit more tapered. Nice support and I like the fabric; the shoe seems to be well-made. I’m not a runner so will be wearing this as an everyday shoe.

Felt good right out of the box. Would like another pair!!!

I supinate/under pronate and wear an 11.5 narrow which make it nearly impossible to find decent sneakers. After trying on a bunch (thank you Zappos for the free shipping both ways), I found this style actually fit well and was comfortable. The description says it's for Neutral walkers, but I read it is good Supinators too. The sneaker has good cushioning (also key for supinators), and this delivers so I can wear them all day whether I'm exercising or just walking around. The narrow is good in this style too because it hugs the foot well and has enough room for the toes at the top. I gave it 4 stars out of frustration for lack of choice in colors - navy blue was the only available when I saw there are many colors for other sizes. I ended up buying back up pairs. I hope Brooks reads these reviews and keeps this style available as well as designs a few others for women who wear extended narrow sizes, supinate and need good cushioning.

Wish this was in different colors. Comfortable for walking- not sure if would have enough support for running.

Fit great! I wanted to love them. Nice support and good amount of room in the toe box. They did not help with shin splits, however. Had to return them.

So comfortable and did not take long to break in. Color and style were great too. The one style that has the knit outer fabric made the shoe fit a little larger than usual.

Cushion is excellent, love the color(navy and pink)..I had foot surgery in Sept so my foot is very sensitive in the heel due to 2 screws. It feels tight on my heel but only on operated foot. Has a little arch support but I wouldn’t classify that as moderate. Runs about a half size small. Haven’t done any running in them, I’m still learning to walk without crutches. It is a great shoe, I’m hoping my foot will adapt.

I loved the Ghost 10's and have worn them out so ordered the 12's in medium width but, as others have stated, they were too narrow. I sent back the medium width shoes and ordered in wide and they fit like my old 10's. I only gave four stars because of the size issue and hope when they come out with the next Ghost version the sizing will revert back since there aren't as many color choices in the wide widths.

I have worn the Ghost for several years now. This is not as good of a fit as it was a few models back but it’s still comfortable and a go to shoe for me. It is very cushiony. I like running shoes with a colored sole (to many are just white which gets dirty too quick) - so I appreciate that.

I started in the ghost 10 and fell in love. They were so comfortable and cushion ride. The 11 were different but not bad. I’m not liking the 12. They are no where like the 10’s comfort. And who decided to use “ribbon” for shoe laces. I’ve had to return to double knotting to keep them from coming untied. And even then the ribbon can loosed. Worst idea to use ribbon like material for shoe laces. Color is good. But wish I could find 10 in my size. I’d buy a truck load of any color!

The fit was overall perfect. But the right shoe felt very uncomfortable right under the ball of my foot - as if something was a bit lumpy in that spot. The left foot fit perfectly. I was also a little disappointed with the color. It was more subdued than I expected. Overall I still love Brooks - I had always worn the Cascadia. I will look at some more colors and styles and order again I'm sure. I also love Zappos and the ease of ordering and customer service.

I loved these shoes... but after 5 months the fabric started ripping on the corner of the toes. I thought maybe I had hit something on the side, but when the other shoe did it too, I realized it was the shoes. It’s a shame because it makes them look shoddy (and a different color) when the fabric is ripped. I have tennis shoes from Brooks that have lasted years without any of the fabric tearing. You can’t hide or fix it which makes the shoes pretty useless except for chores

I like my other Brooks Ghost 12 a lot (a dark purple) but I bought the pink as a back-up and was disappointed enough to send them back. They feel stiffer than my other ones (although maybe I just need to break them in) but the real problem was the laces. They have beautiful ombre pink laces, but the material is super weird and hard to tighten/tie. They don't feel like regular athletic running laces. And the print on the soles looks cuter online than in real life. I will try another color!

These shoes felt a bit narrower in the toe box especially with my Aetrex orthotics I'm there. I'm hoping once I break into them it'll be alright. I felt some soreness in my toebox the first time I wore these but I'm going to try loosening the laces and maybe even not wearing the orthotics. Will keep these but good to know that they are different than the previous generation, in terms of width.
