I am recovering from knee replacement surgery and needed a shoe for physical therapy sessions. This shoe is very heavy making it uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time or long periods of activity. The New Balance Fresh Foam X More v4 in a larger size and width than I normally wear was a better choice Fresh Foam X More v4

Am disappointed that I now have to buy wide.... 1540V3 not made in US ... toe bed in not as wide as 1540V2.... therefore had to buy wide. Unfortunately, the shoe over time will stretch and then wide will be too big. Never wore a wide in my life. Quality is not as good as the 1540V2. I kept because I need the support... pronation. flat feet. Am wondering how the 1540 V4 will be like when it comes out... Wish New Balance was made in US. I never had problems when manufactured in US.

I wear these for work because I difficulty finding shows that will allow me to be on my feet. I should have send back for a regular width.

I like the style and color. Unfortunately a hole developed in the toe after only wearing them five months.

I had to go up half a size because the toe box narrowed out too much and I thought my longer big toe would start to rub. That of course made the shoe a little wider, so it took some creative lacing to get it to fit my narrow foot. What I didn't realize until after my first long walk was that where the tongue was attached to the shoe they left a long, raw edge which gave me a blister on my arthritic toe. I had to take it to a shoemaker to have it trimmed back. Not a big deal, but sloppy workmanship on an expensive shoe! It does give good support for overpronators like me.

They felt heavy and stiff.

This sneaker is very short! It is a full size too small!

I've had these for 5 months. They are comfortable, with moderate support, I could use more arch support. The soles are in very good condition. They don't feel short at all, but I've worn a hole on the top of the shoe, where my toes are, which is a rare occurance for me. I don't love the look, but they are in style.

The size and fit we’re good, but I have high arches, and there was no support. My feet felt like they were turning in when I walked.

There was a lot I liked about this shoe. It had just the right amount of cushioning, not too much, not too little. I love the color and the style. But, I guess maybe because it is a running shoe and not a walking shoe, I found my feet coming down flat and hard rather than rolling through a normal gait. On my kitchen floor it was a very loud and obvious "smack, smack". I almost tripped once while trying them on. I found that this was just not worth the risk and will be returning them.

I have a very long, skinny foot with a narrow heel, which is super tough to fit. I'm typically an 11.5AA (in Munro and a few other brands). I tried a 12N and 13N in these, but both were too short in length. Otherwise, the shoe felt great. My heel didn't slip around at all. Very cushy with a wide toe box. (Luckily the New Balance 990v5 in 13N was a touch longer in length, so I went with those.)

Did not fit. Too narrow. Nice color.

These shoes have really wide bottom which adds stability but not well cushioned inside. And the rubber sole makes them heavy, I call the clodhoppers because they’re so clunky. I never where them because of it. Regret this purchase. I bought them for my Plantar Fasciitis because they were recommended.

I was looking for a stiffer alternative to the Brooks Ariel with a rollbar instead of guide rails but these felt too stiff and clunky- no bend or give to them. Also, I ordered the wrong size- Brooks runs small- these are true to size so I might not have given them a fair chance.

These shoes are stiff and uncomfortable, and as others have noticed, cheaply made compared to earlier versions of New Balance shoes. I regret purchasing them.

fit was good. but other shoe purchased was more comfortable.

I ordered an 11 AA, and the heel was too wide for me. I usually wear this size in tennis shoes & a AAA in other shoes.

The toe box is nice and wide and overall the shoe is comfortable, but consider ordering a half size larger - they do not run true to size.

I purchased 2V size but need 3V or 4V size. I will be returning this pair.

I buy these shoes for my husband. He likes to have a backup pair as he wears them everyday. They accommodate his custom orthotics - problem with this shoe is it is women's sizing! I had to go to the NB site to get the men's sizing! Just be aware!

I have several styles of this exact shoe, But / this particular pair squeaks! Back they go but I will reorder and try again. I wish they had them in Black!

I love the colors but super bummed about the fit. I think these are made at a different manufacturer. On both shoes, was a very uncomfortable footbed. The arch didn't feel like it was in the correct place and both shoes were touching the ends of my toes. I also ordered the blue ones and these fit better. Glad I ordered both pair so at least one works. I am eternally grateful that we can order slim sizes.

I have narrow feet and ordered an AA. My feet sloshed around in these. They are wide across the instep.

12-wide sized okay. Has very firm support, but not necessarily for higher arches. Not good shoe if you pronate at all. Apparently, some of my previous shoes set my stride wrong (pay attention to your feet, before you have to)
