use this as recommended originally at NB store. recently replaced first model after it was a bit worn. wish more color choices available; price is high and hard to see difference versus other less espensive options

My wife has been wearing New Balance 990v5 for years. When she got an add for 25% off she bought 2 pair. I then tried to order a pair of men's 990 and found that men's were excluded from the 25% discount. I was very disappointed and did't order.

Disappointed. I thought with the price they would be more comfortable. Not so just plain fitting sneakers. Would not purchase again. Very sorry I did!

At this price, I expected the perfect running shoe. These are the most expensive and least comfortable running shoes that I've ever purchased! They're not a bad looking shoe, but they are very stiff and not enough cushion, so I can only wear them for short periods of time.

They are sone what comfortable but are extremely bulky and not very flexible. It might be because their sizes are far bigger than other brands. I've worn a size 8 in every other type of shoe I've worn as an adult but these feel like a 9 or a 10. I wish o could return them.

I bought these for work; I'm on my feet a lot and need the support. Felt fine when I tried them on, but wearing at work all day I noticed they're a lot heavier and hurt my feet, very uncomfortable.

I have been using the Newbalnace 993 types of shoes last 7 years. I am very happy with the 993 models. However, the last one (purchased two years ago) 990v4 is not the same level as the 993 models. And I can't get any more 993 models with a wide option like 4E then I looked at 990v6 does not have dark colors as well. I am forced to buy it again 990v5, it is still in the box, am still double-minded

I love the style of the shoe however, mine were delivered with a few nicks around the sole of the shoe. The shoe is extremely comfortable but I'm just disappointed in the initial presentation.

I am sorry to say that this sneaker feels very heavy for walking. I have to wear a custom made orthotic to put inside this shoe and found that the wide was not quite wide enough to make it comfortable for me. Its a very good looking sneaker but the fit was not for me. I felt like the tongue where it was sewed on the inside had too much material that was not needed which took away from the width of the shoe especially if you have bunion on your foot to deal with besides.

Almost nonexistent arch support and very little cushioning. Very disappointed.

Although i have paid 1 day shipping cost, it did not shipped in 1 day. Also there is a defect under part of shoe lace. Because i was tourist, i could not return. And NB did not return my shipping cost although they dont ship in 1 day

I ordered these which are probably my 5th or 6th pair of 990s. This pair was not constructed well. A couple holes to lace the shoe were covered by interior padding. I had to send them back. (side note: when I did call customer service for a return label they were not too helpful either).
