Customer Reviews New Balance Made in US 990v5

Contacted NB for recommendations to replace my old running shoes. What do you know? After 10 years there's a new model!! They are every bit as good as I remember my old ones were way back when. Looking forward t many miles ahead. Thanks for the advice, the speedy service and shoes MADE IN THE USA!!!

This is the first time I have purchased any shoes online because I have always needed to try them on first to ensure a good fit. I took a chance and purchased these online and they fit perfectly.

As long as I am not at a social function, with a dress code, these shoes are on my feet! Whether walking our dog, doing household chores, or working at my part time job, these NB 990 shoes give me the support my feet require.

I love the fact it is made in the USA, and the black 990v5 wide fits perfect and is great for running, walking, and all day wear. 5 Stars !

I've been wearing new balance shoes since the 70s when I had the kangaroo leather ripple sole shoe which I purchased through the YMCA. The new 990 version five is well made very comfortable. I purchased the wide in blue. It has great support and cushioning. It is a bit overpriced but it is 76% made in America.

I must say that these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn!! And with the width option(I have flat feet), New Balance truly offers an awesome fit.

Jogger now. Long time user of the 990 series shoe. Did a couple of marathons and half marathons with these shoes. Won't wear anything else.

These shoes are great. I have very wide and tall feet and this is the only shoe that fits me properly outside of Hitchcock, and those are all incredibly ugly. The only problem is that the tongue keeps moving to the side. I hope that NB doesn't stop making 6E shoes. I have no clue what I would wear if they do.

I kept reading about this shoe and how it has become hip to have them. I assumed this meant they were amazingly better than other sneakers. Now, I am in my 60s, so I am looking for all the typical older guy aspects of a sneaker/walking shoe. These shoes are decent enough, but without naming names, there are much more comfortable sneakers out there for a cheaper price.

These shoes have a great feel. They have good cushion and support. Unfortunately, they were a bit too big. I had to return them and will be getting a smaller size.

The fit is perfect. Got them in wide and now I never want to buy a different pair of shoes ever. I loved my 574's I had but the newer versions, not the classics, were a little narrow. I read online that if you're going from 574's to these that you should go down a half size. It's true, great fit

If you need 6E, these are the shoes for you. Good support, plenty of room in the toebox.

This is my third pair of 990 shoes. I'm a senior citizen who walks every day to stay in good health and keep my blood pressure in check. When I start the day in these shoes instead of slippers, I always hit my goals for exercise minutes & steps. They are so comfortable both for exercise and normal daily activities. (I also use insoles.) Customer service is great, too. I accidentally ordered men's shoes instead of women's and quickly got a refund as well as the correct order. Best of all, they're made in the USA!
