Love these shoes! comfortable shoes to walk in and very stylish.

Always conformable and sturdy, classic style and colors.

These shoes are awesome!! They are excellent for everyday running or walking. The comfort is outstanding. I purchase a pair every spring. I still have pairs from years ago which speaks volumes to their durability. The only reason why I purchase them annually is because I get them dirty.

These are so comfortable and offer great support. 5 stars!!!

These are most comfortable and versatile shoes I own. Only regret is that I only have only two feet for them.

New Balance really blew it when they discontinued the 1260. I have not found a good replacement

These feel almost exactly the same on my feet as the pair of first generation 990s I have worn for many years. I hope the soles don't start to peel apart on this pair like the last ones did! These are otherwise excellent shoes, fitting my difficult feet (14 EE) and very stable with good cushioning. I put off mentioning the peeling bottom layer on the soles on the last pair - they probably would have replaced them for me.

I bought a black pair and wear them all the time. It took me a few days to break them end, but after that, they became my go to shoe. I like them so much, that I just purchased a second pair, just in case something happens to my current pair. They are worth the money IMO.

Great for walking and stability. I enjoy the comfort a wider shoe gives.

My son seems to be happy with his 990v5 NB shoes. He wears size 16 EE so there are not a lot of choices.

I fell in love with this shoe! I will NEVER BUY anything else from now on. I work at a large hospital and do a lot of walking! My average daily steps are anywhere between 10 - 13,000! So needless to say I've found what I need!!

Very stylish comfortable shoes that can worn as an everyday shoe. A must have!

I work in a fast paced retail environment and need a shoe that supports my feet as well as knees and hips. I typically take over 15000 steps daily, walking more than six miles over the course of an eight hour shift. Regular running shoes do not provide the cushioning I want plus they are a lower volume shoe...meant to be tight on the foot. I wanted more cushioning on the top of my feet so that circulation would not be diminished as my feet swell over the course of the day. I also wear a pair of New Balance 1080 GY8 but I think the 990 offers a bit more cushion in the tongue. I replaced the insole with a semi-custom heat moldable insole. I've had these for only three weeks and will be interested to learn how lonf they will hold up. The 1080s are over eighteen months old and still going.

I bought a pair for my mother (of course the female version)and one for myself she loves them she uses it for work and everyday use. I had to change mine for half a size smaller they do tend to run a little bigger

NB 990 is a classic shoe. It's comfortable, stylish, and fits well right out of the box. Version 5 is on the mark and as long as NB keeps up the good work, I will keep buying this classic.

I don't run anymore because my knees protest vigorously. I do walk and these new shoes are outstanding! Very comfortable and supportive, the fit is excellent as well.

I ordered my pair of 990v5 and was excited to see the order process after 1 week of waiting I get and email that they ran out of stock . I am very disappointed due to the fact this is the actual retailer that makes the shoe not a regular shoe store that would be understandable.

I have to used these shoes as they are the only ones that offer the proper support I require after foot surgery. NB has a customer for life in me.

Hi, I love this shoe and have bergen buying it for about 30 years through the various changes in its number. Owing to a car accident many years ago, my feet are extra wide, so I need the men's 6W width. Keep it available, please. However, I have been having difficulty in finding my size in the all black color , my dress shoes. Any help there? Thanks
