So glad we can find shoes that fit my sons unusual foot size!

I have wore NB Training shoes in a 10.5 B for you years but my feet must be changing, so ordered these in 11B. I recall wearing this NB Model a few pairs back, I forgot how great they feel.

Being a size 16 it gets difficult to find a decent sneaker for my long walks. I’m averaging 10 miles a day on the road and require a sneaker that can hold up to that many miles as well as my large frame. New Balance has been the sneaker I’ve turned to for decades. The 990v5 is what works for me as I have transitioned from running to walking. Zappos makes it easy to get a difficult to find sneaker to me in a few days. The only knock is I haven’t seen this sneaker in this size go on sale anywhere including Zappos. It’s as if I’m being punished for having a size 16. $200 for a sneaker that quickly gets enough miles on them to have to be replaced is unfortunate. I will continue to stick with Zappos as it is one of the most reliable and trusted places to purchase shoes. It’s as if someone is literally waiting around the corner with my size 16’s ready to deliver?

The comfort on this shoes is it’s biggest asset. The style is a bit “dad”. The reason why I will not buy these made in America sneakers is because of the lack of durability. The soles are still in great shape after 4 months but the mesh at the big toe area is shot. You are better off buying the $60 sneaks and getting three for the price of one.

I’ve always been an athlete who wears a narrow width shoe, 10.5 B. I think at almost 60 my feet have changed but the 11B feels great.

These new balance sneakers are my favorite. I buy a new pair every year.

Shoes fit well and show quality of made in USA. On the other hand, shoes are expensive (now approaching $200) and wear out with 3 or 4 months of daily use.
