It's a perfect fit! I approve!

I have always worn a 9 1/2 narrow (B) width, however it's now running wider. The first pair of narrows I ordered was also too wide, but I kept them. This is the second pair and they are still running too wide. These have been returned and exchanged for a 9 1/2 extra narrow. Hope this makes the difference.

Fit perfectly, very comfortable right out of the box. Orthotic inserts fit well in them too

I have a narrow foot and this is the only running shoe that fits perfectly. I have bought them for 10+ years and never been disappointed.

I have been buying the 990 sneakers since they came out. The V5 seems a little less supportive then the past models. Also the mesh on top seems to let in more cold air then the past ones. Still, it is a very good shoe. However, I am going to try to stock up on older models while they are still available. I really wish there was a comparison chart between the different models.

The toe box in New Balance shoes varies by model. I wear a 2E and this shoe is comparatively larger in the toe box than other New Balance shoes of the same size.

I need to buy a men’s 10 medium to accommodate my big, clunky orthotics. These sneakers are perfect in size and comfort. Also, the toe box is generous (did I mention I also have wide feet?)

Very comfortable shoe and made in the USA to a high quality. The shoe took a few wears to break in properly. 990v5 usually run 1/2 size larger so I went with a 9 US, whereas my foot is a 9.5 US and it felt nice and snug.

Great shoes. Been wearing the same style for over 20 years. Never a problem.

My husband have a narrow foot and the B width is perfect. He likes the pronation support. The navy color is nice. Highly recommend

Fourth pair of the New Balance 990 series. So far so good. Sad, in a way, that I have to buy a more expensive ""running shoe"" for cushioning. I've tried two ""Fresh Foam" NB shoes and there is no padding in them in my opinion.

I have been buying a new balance 990s Siri’s for years. Very well-made and hold up.

I bought 12, 4ee and they were to big, went down to 11.5 4ee and too small and narrow at toe box which these used to have wide toe box. I am buying 12’s again and will try custom inserts. All the shoes I am getting suck. Asics gel nimbus are hard as a rock, Brooks Glycerine are narrow, Hoka I would compare running to sleeping on a bad mattress. I have been wearing NB 1080’s for a couple years and the new ones have no arch support. So my 1 year old 1080’s right now are my most comfortable shoe and they are completely worn out.

The MOST comfortable shoes for standing all day!! Just wish they were more stylish.

My husband, who wears a size 11-AA, swears by these shoes. I'll take his word for it--he wears them out. Whenever he gets a new pair, the "old" pair becomes his gardening shoes.

Item is slightly bigger than expected but very comfortable for walking. Suede texture on outside and cushions every step on the inside
