really disappointed when the sole become unattattached in the rear of my left shoe. Never had this happen before. Tried using super glue before discarding them: they had so much life left otherwise.

Great overall construction and materials. Super comfortable and roomy. Love my 990v5!

This is my third pair of 990's, I primarily used for them for leisure than when they become a bit worn I use them as a work shoe, they are comfortable and wear well. I wear a size 14 XW

It goes very well with Jeans, chinos, joggers and even shorts.

Ordered a Wide, but too wide. Regular was my correct size. Best athletic shoe purchase ever!

Bought these 990v5's as a gift for my son's birthday. Best support and materials/construction ever! Gave them a Scotchgard treatment so they look great for years.

the soles literally CRUNCH as I walk across a floor; no where near the amount of support the older versions had either. A definitely disappointing purchase, hardly worth half the purchase price

these are great! quality of materials is awesome, they look good and are probably the most comfortable every day pair of shoes i own. Price tag is steep but if you can it is definitely worth every cent. if you don't mind a bit of a looser fit go true to size. if you want more snug go a half size down.

Probably the best shoes I purchased...this is the second pair...anyways great shoe...low stock in my size...not the color I really wanted, but I bought them because after months of waiting this color was the only one available...seems like a company the size of New Balance would keep stocked...

Always been a fan of New Balance since late 1986, my Mom buying my first pair of 990's. When I was in Middle School, the all day comfort plus performance to wear throughout the years are by the greatest pair of sneakers that I can wear. The sneaker works better as it ages from normal wear. That says a lot for New Balance versus it's competitors. The 990v5 continues on a tradition for excellence in style, performance and comfort that I will continue to buy not only for myself but my Children as well. Even convinced my Father in Law to buy a pair and he enjoys them. I love to go to the NB store in Carle Place,NY cause they have Professionals who will give you a full measurement of your feet with the technology they have at the Store.
