I have flat feet so I can't wear my Vans shoes anymore, and these shoes offer great ar h support and are stylish looking. These now are my every day shoes and my feet don't hurt anymore, plus the they come in all sizes and widths. A++

The material & construction were excellent. But, there must be away to measure the width & select the appropriate width accordingly. I approached your Twitter account, and they couldn't help select the correct width.

Good shoes are worth the money. I'm too old to be wearing throw away shoes.

This is roughly my 5th pair of 990s' and each successive one has been a little bit better than the last.

For years I have order my 990V5 or 993 / D. But this order, I did not get the right with. I followed the instructions and send it back. Waited till my card was reimbursed and ordered it again. Now I got 2E. Not as nice of a fit, but I was on vacation in Mississippi and kept it. Not a happy long time consumer and will consider other shoes after many years.

I've put off buying these shoes for the past 5 years and finally decided to splurge. Overall just a less than adequate pair of shoes. The shoe box has more style than the shoes do.

My 20-something son has been wearing NB 990s forever. I bought him this pair in his usual size, but he said they were too tight across the toes. I needed to return them. The shoes otherwise seem like the usual good NB shoes. The sizing is the only problem.

Got them in and since then I have been looking forward to wearing them. The quality is great and fit is true to size. They are cool!

I have severs disease in both heels, and I have had it for years. I have been wearing new balance for about 8 years now. I started with the 990 v3s, and then the v4s. The v5s I have had for a year and a half and they are god awful. They are the worst new balance product I have received, they do not comfort my severs disease like the v4's did. I hope that New balance goes back and adds the V4s back in all sizes, and widths!

The best supportive shoe I ever had. I have worn 990 since 1990 and they hold up the best!

Actually bought the grey 990v5 size 9.5 Wide, but it ended up being 2 inches gap in the front, so I would suggest to go half a size down if you have wide feet. Only got these black ones in person at the new balance store, got a size 8.5 X Wide(Didn't know they were X Wide). So I kept the grey ones I bought online, and bought these black ones in person. Gifted grey ones to my father and hes loving them, all he wore was sketcher shoes so these are a big upgrade. Only problem I feel is that you have to break them in, wear them for awhile until they become comfortable 100%. My feet hurt at the start when they were new, and they only hurt when I stood still, but continually walking was no problem. They are perfect now, no pain at all! First time buying new balance, and especially the 990v5 as I heard its comfortable, no regrets. I wore ultraboosts before this, I'd say they are equally comfortable, but these are more stylish. They should last me some time, but I'm already going to buy more.
