I walk 2.5 miles per day and need good comfortable shoes that last. These are great and the only shoes I wear for walks. Other shoes cause my arches to hurt.

Use the shoes as my everyday shoes. Walking, working out and general wear. I find the shoe has a bit of a wider heel. Not the best for me as a wear a 12.5 2A.

I have a wide foot. These sneakers are a great fit for my feet. I wear them for 8 while I'm at work, My feet are happy to have them!!!

The best show I have ever had. Excellent support while giving optimum comfort.

Still miss my 998s but the 990v5 is a close relative. These are the ONLY shoes I wear. Wear them every waking hour since I have significant arthritis in one tibio-talar joint. Been wearing NB's shoes since before my knee was replace in 1995. Only brand I buy.

This shoe is very stylish and comfortable! I love the color way and it's like talking on clouds on feet!

Fit true to size. Very comfortable look good and feel good.

To me the made in the USA versions are always worth the price. Any model New Balance I've owned has excellent quality control already, so this was a no-brainer. I wear these every day putting in 7-9 miles on foot ten hours minimum. On average this model holds up extremely well giving me about 2-3 months more wear than competitors models.

I've never bought a shoe online, but NB runs true to size and they fit perfect. Like the look and i was interested in purchasing a shoe mostly made in USA.

Due to a heel spur I really only wear 990v5's, and these new ones had the same fit and feel as my previous pair. Keep on keepin' on!

I bought this for my husband as a surprise because he needed them. He had a pair that are ancient but says he can never find a wide enough shoe that comfortable. He loved these!!! He loved they fit perfect and that they were made in the USA. As a veteran he loved the flag on the tongue.

I wear them everyday when I fitness walk. Good cushion and support because I walk on the asphalt street.

I have had at least four pairs of 990's sz 13. Ordered 990V5's in sz 13 and had to return for a 12.5 but otherwise the same shoe.

Supportive, cushioning, super comfortable, I wear these every day, and did I say cool in an understated way!

The 990 is the best of the best of New Balance. Walking or trying to run, you'll never go wrong. Great support and comfort.

The New Balance 990v5 EEEE are the only shoes I wear while walking, whether on the treadmill or traveling. They are simply the only shoes that give me proper support and are wide enough in the forefoot for sustained comfort. Been using these and their predecessors for years. Always have at least two pair which I rotate.

Have worn New Balance since 1985 knee surgery. Best shoes for insuring the feet maintain their default position. Would never buy anything other than the 990v5.
