Customer Reviews New Balance Made in US 990v5

I ordered my regular size 9 and they were huge. Disappointed as Ive been buying these shoes fir years!

I need my shoes to last at least a couple months. These only lasted about 2 weeks. The new balance outlet I bought them from was horrible, and now the shoe wants to slip off. I really would have expected more since I buy multiple pairs a year.

Unfortunately have large and wide feet has always been a problem for finding comfortable shoes. New balance had always helped by offering double wide fit. Unfortunately all of their better looking shoes were unavailable in wide fit and of the three pairs that I ordered in double wide only one actually fit. I recently found two other brands that fit better and were available in their better designs.

Shoes started coming apart after wearing them for about 2 weeks. Still waiting for my refund.

Really disappointed . The sole of the 990v5 is hard as a rock . I wonder if New Balance changed the material composition of the sole. Was killing my feet . In addition after only 100 miles the tounge fell off. I'm now a Brooks Ghost 14 customer . For the price paid inexcusable.

The product I received in the mail was nothing like the picture.

I have severs disease in both heels, and I have had it for years. I have been wearing new balance for about 8 years now. I started with the 990 v3s, and then the v4s. The v5s I have had for a year and a half and they are god awful. They are the worst new balance product I have received, they do not comfort my severs disease like the v4's did. I hope that New balance goes back and adds the V4s back in all sizes, and widths!

Gave these shoes as a gift. When he opened them up the shoes were scuffed on the bottom and there was hair in the box. It was so embarrassing to discoverer this. Couldn't even return due to it being a gift.

The computer fit at New Balance store in Evergreen walk was a complete joke just marketing hype. I purchased these made in USA sneakers hoping for comfort in walking. The fit specialist said they run small and suggested next 1/2 size up and he insisted on use of the add on Ortho insert. In real world walking the toe box was extremely narrow and compressed on cobblestone streets especially as well as sidewalks resulting in sharp pain. The fit specialist knew the surfaces I was going to be walking on. This was a complete waste of money on a very expensive made in USA sneaker.

Shoe of the DMV man, the v'5s got that lil ugly strap on em. Whoever designed that needs to be fired ASAP , they just don't hit like the v4's ong.

Had this shoe for a couple of years. It wasn't completely separated, but enough to where I couldn't wear them on wet surfaces. Water would seep in and get my socks wet. At the price I paid for these shoes, I expected them to be more sturdy and have a longer longevity.

really disappointed when the sole become unattattached in the rear of my left shoe. Never had this happen before. Tried using super glue before discarding them: they had so much life left otherwise.

the soles literally CRUNCH as I walk across a floor; no where near the amount of support the older versions had either. A definitely disappointing purchase, hardly worth half the purchase price

Thought these would be great. Didn't mind paying extra for made in USA. No arch support. The sole insert in left shoe came out within two weeks.
