I particularly like the extra wide width. I have worn New Balance for several years.

Product fits and feels great.

I run on wet uneven pavement in the dark. The reflectors keep me safe. Also good to wear all day for walks and drives.

i have been purchasing the New Balance 900 or 993 sneakers for over 20 years and have found them the perfect fit for my weekly running routine. I am now over age 65 and still running though not quite as fast.

WEAR THEM EVERY DAY, I WALK DONT RUN JUMP OR CLIMB, WORTH EVERY PENNY, DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING WAS MADE IN USA ANY MORE. BUY AND ENJOY..

Shoes came in on time, very comfortable and strong

I been buying New Balance for nearly 30 years now. I can't tell you how much I really love their products. Their shoe 990v5 Core has kept my feet comfortable and active as I age. LOVE IT!

I bought a pair of New Balance 990's 9 months ago (1/26/22) from a NB retail store in Richmond, VA. I liked the fit and comfort. I tied them loosely. Never ran with them. Only walked with them on sidewalks, dogparks or occasionally in the green. I drove with them. I work from home. At home, I wear slippers. Anyway, after 9 months of pretty average daily wear, these shoes fell apart. The heel on the right shoe became detached. The tread wore down significantly. While they are comfortable, their quality is horrible, which is sad to say. I love buying USA made stuff, and I actually know NB employees who have worked at their shoe factory in Skowhegan. Hate to say it, but I will not be buying New Balance again, big disappointment.

Been wearing this sneaker for years and whether going to the New Balance Store or ordering On-Line by far the best wearing sneaker. When in the store you see so many employees wearing it, speaks volume.

Just a everyday sneaker the build quality is unmatched. Runs big and didn't realize until after wearing a few time so now im stick with bigger ones

Everything is good with these shoes except the cost !

Most comfortable classic look

The shoe was very good, and it was the 4E width that I need. I found the shoe heavier than I expected, otherwise they were fine. I have returned the shoes for a refund.

Ordered the same shoe I already had but this is to small.

This is the second time submitting this review as the moderators didn't publish my first review which included photos. I have worn the 990 family of shoes for over 20 years. I was always satisfied with them. However, the last 3 pairs, including the 990v5, developed sizeable holes in the big toe area. My feet haven't changed, so I conclude that the mesh on top of the shoe is now of inferior quality. Please consider using tighter stitching or better materials for the mesh. Or, even better, consider using solid material over the big toe area. These shoes are too expensive for the mesh to come apart. Please publish my review.

only athletic shoes I can wear, getting harder to find

These NB Made in USA shoes are the best products that they make. They are more solid than their other shoes and last longer. I want NB to make a Made in USA cross training shoe and will buy that too.

I'm very satisfied with my new shoes they were spot on right out of the box. I've been struggling lately trying to find comfortable shoes. The 990's are extremely comfortable and I would highly recommend them.
