New Balance is great because I'm always able to find a good fit which isn't always easy to find on the market because I have fairly big, but rather narrow feet. Their shoes are also very sturdy and comfortable.

Solid shoe with good support that helps stability control. The support does add to weight . The tread wear is very good but I've experienced a problem with the mesh wearing out in spots

I'm trying to buy mostly things made in USA right now, and besides that these are tip-top quality running shoes. I injured myself running in a pair of Nike Odessey sneakers and thought that it was time for a change. These have an excellent level of support and all around fantastic build quality.

Bought them for walking and some running. They have worked great. Have a problem with my foot and I was at the podiatrist and she commented that these were really good shoes.

I have been using exclusively New Balance for my running, 10 to 15 miles per week, for more than 35 years. I wouldn't use anything else.

990v5 is the sneakers I wore most after I got em. I have many New Balance sneakers, and 990v5 gives the most reliable and comfortable feedback. I'd love to have this model in different colorways.

The shoe is comfy straight out the box and stays comfy with every wear. Would absolutely buy it again!

This is my fourth pair of 990s. I recommend getting the orthotics to minimize stress to your feet. With both, they are super comfortable walking shoes.

These American made shoes fit me better than any I have had in years. This is my third pair over the years and would not buy any other.

Have not wore them yet. Will see how they wear later.

Bought this pair for my brother, he generally doesn't like new balance shoes but he loves these. They fit him perfectly and he wears them all the time.

The 990v5 is a shoe that I wear daily as my daily walkers. Strong, comfortable and well made, this shoe is exactly what I was looking for and they have not disappointed after months of daily use.

My shoe size is 13-A, and impossible to find in a comfortable sport shoe. I have been buying NB 990's for at least 20 years because I've never found a better or more comfortable fit. They are a bit pricey, but the 13-B fits "like a custom made glove". I have NB golf shoes and NB walking shoes for the same great fit with no break-in time needed. Being retired and living in FL means casual 24-7, so my 990's are first on in the morning and the last off at night with great comfort all day.

Have been and will wear this shoe forever. Great support.

I walk in these shoes everyday. Very Comfortable and my feet never hurt after walking all day. Worth the price. Runs a tad bit large compared to the 990v4

I like the wide fit and the length was good, after sending it back for a longer shoe. I don't like the material directly over my toes. My wife doesn't like the look of it, which is important because I plan to use these shoes with my jeans all the time. The order, and return, and second order were perfect. I didn't like it that NB advertised a 20% discount in an online message, but when I went to pay, there was no discount. The next time I will have to go to my local shoe store and compare prices and shoes. And why do I have to enter my email address when you have asked me to sign-in when making a comment?

I ordered EE and got E. I returned the shoes so that they can be exchanged.

The 990v5 is outstanding. Fit is perfect . Feel is wonderful . The v5 is maintaining the excellent tradition of the 990's .

Great fit. Comfortable shoe. I'm literally rotating them with new pairs as they get old.
