This shoe is so comfortableto wear! I appreciated thequality and the fact it can be worn to do all kinds of activities. I play ball, run, train and be a dad in this shoe.

i have had new balance in the past i have 2 other pairs to be exact, 519 and 857, these are very comfortable , i would buy new balance again i have had nike , but since bought new balance and will again nad again

I ordered this for my son for Christmas. He loves the shoe, however he is going to return them for a smaller size. He is very pleased that they are such a good quality and it was also so important to him to have something made in the United States. Thanks so much and please keep up the great work. I will be purchasing a new pair of NB very soon for myself.

Bought today through Navy Exchange Pax River. I'm a NB fanatic but haven't owned 990 brand since last pair which were 993's. Super comfortable and feels good walking around.

Nice shoe and I like it, but the shoe's size bigger than adidas same size.

I Bought this shoe originally in protest of Nike, I wanted something with the US flag when I heard about them dropping the Betsy Ross flag. They are the most comfortable shoe I have owned, I bought another pair.

I have run in the 990 series almost my entire adult life. The v5 seems to fit just a bit narrower than the v4, which in my case is better. Good cushioning, styling in black is really nice and excellent stability.

These shoes are a perfect fit. It's difficult to find narrow and long tennis shoes unless I shop at New Balance. I have never been disappointed in any of the athletic or walking shoes purchased from NB over the past 10 or so years. Excellent product. My 83 year old feet are once again at comfort thanks to my new 990v5 (made in USA) shoes. Expensive but well worth the great ride.

I walk as much as I can at work and lately the dress code has become more relaxed. Dress for Your Day is the new standard. Since "sneakers" are allowed, I jumped at the chance to work in "sneakers" everyday. Buying a pair of shoes online means not trying them on first. But that is not a problem with New Balance due to their consistency in size and comfort.

The 990v5 continues the 990 line tradition. Looks good, feels great. It's hard to get it right; it's even harder to keep getting it right. Keep on trucking...

These are the best shoes I've ever owned. I have horrible feet. My shoes usually wear down on the outsides within 3 months. I've had these for 8 months and they still have good thread on the bottom. This new updated style looks really good with jeans and dockers. They feel good on my feet. I'm a trucker and these are good in the snow and rain. I'm gonna get another black pair. I like the dark color and the dark bottom. When they are dirty you cant really tell. I have oil and diesel on them and no one can tell. I also like the reflective signs on the sides and back. When I walk thru the truckstop at night people can see me. I love these shoes. The price is just right. I've paid 200 bucks for other brands an they were destroyed within 3 months.

My husband will only wear these running shoes. He would never change loves the style and he color.

Will never consider another running shoe. Perfect for me.

My son has pronating ankles. His doctor recommended this shoe. I do wish that NB included this shoe in their sales and coupons. That never seems to be the case.

These are pretty comfortable shoes. I have had plenty of new balance shoes over the years and these are by far the best. I hope the company doesn't change anything in the later editions. It's the perfect running shoe. I may purchase a second pair.

I have very wide feet, and these shoes are very comfortable and give me the room I need.

I am satisfied with the purchase, but stil waiting for the refund for the pair I returned because they were too narrow.

I gift my son a pair of these shoes each year. He is a runner, and loves these shoes!

I been using this model number since being recommended to me by my podiatrist, and am glad he did recommend, the best fitting show I have ever used.
