Great sneaker, poor craftsmanship on my pair... some loose stitching and glue stains, also midsole TPU was porous like if it was removed too early from its mold before it sealed the outer surface entirely... went M11 narrow, and it fit great... M11 normal would've been too wide for my narrow fit, also M10.5 normal would've been a tad short, so I'm glad they make narrow sizes... will likely repurchase once my return is processed, hopefully the craftsmanship issues I found were a one-off, as this is supposed to be USA made.

I am lucky that I can wear sneakers every day at work. NB fits my feet, and my lifestyle. And I know my feet won't hurt at the end of the day. The 990's are the only shoe I will buy online, because I know they fit every time.

I was skeptical at first because of the suede, but these shoes are incredibly comfy and the suede holds up well. I wore them all week in Vegas and the streets are so dirty, but it was easy to clean them. Honestly all you need to really know is they are incredibly comfy and feel much more stable than ultra boost which is what I previously wore as walking shoes. Whatever encap is works well, I get pretty good return on the heels of the shoes. Need better colors, and more 997 made in USA options because they are a better silhouette. Also all my Nike and adidas shoes fit perfect size 9, I would only buy these a half size down, I got an 8.5 and have plenty of room but no heel slip.

These shoes are extremely comfortable and have great support. I'm not a runner, just a walker but they are excellent for walking as well. I recommend them highly.

I use these for work at a department store , I'm on my feet all day and constantly walking around, they provide comfort and stability to my feet all shift long and would highly recommend.

This shoe is irreplaceable ..... It's hard to wear anything else !

Quiet a bulky sneaker. Too heavy to run in. Not worth the cost.

I get a lot of compliments when I wear my 990v5's for casual wear. They look great with joggers. The suede material is top grade. The insoles are cozy soft. Overall a great shoe for any occasion. I love that it's made in the USA!!!!!

I am 76 and walking in these shoes has helped reduce pain in my lower right back that runs down my right leg.

Very comfortable, bought them for a Disney trip with the kids. Walked 40 miles in a week of Parks. Very comfortable, no problems. Highly Recommend

These are my every other day go to sneakers. They come in handy for everything. A quick run to the corner store or mall. My fit for my grey sweatpants. Good Jawn !

I could tell right away that this was a superior shoe in comparison to lesser brands. I bought this as a gym shoe and it has performed as expected . The looks and quality are worth paying for. The overall selection of 6e width shoes has put me in camp New Balance for sure. Some don't realize the importance a good shoe can have on knee and back health in addition to the foot.

Use these for my daily walk. It's a little over two miles up and down two hills. These are very comfortable and stay cooler than the foam new balance shoes I have. Regret buying those, mainly because they're made in (you know where). Quality is excellent, service is great, can't go wrong with these shoes. Also, normal width is E width for us back in the day people.

Used daily while at work on concrete floor to save knees, hips and feet. These are fascinatingly comfortable and the best part is they are made in the USA.

The fit is perfect. This was a double E width and the fit is most important to me.

My Husband loves these 990v5, we buy a pair every year. These New balance never go out if style.

I have AA width feet, mens 12.5 sneakers that fit are hard to find. I have worn redwings and new balance for decades because they make shoes to fit me. this new pair is the first i have found in black.

I've had some iteration of this shoe for 20 years now. It's my go-to sneaker. The only part of this shoe that shows it's age after a year of constant wear is the tread on the bottom. Otherwise they are rock solid. Once you buy a pair you'll be hooked like me.
