I run in these shoes all the time and also wear them as my every day shoe. They are incredibly comfortable and supportive. I love them!

Bought these for my niece on her birthday. She's just gotten into the sport of orienteering and needed something other than a light hiking shoe. The Speedcross 5 gave her the traction that she needed to run/climb/jump through and over all sorts of terrain. Orienteering is more severe than trail running! She has happy & secure feet!

I've put some miles on these shoes and they are holding up well. Comfort from day 1. This is my 4th or 5th pair of Speedcross over the past few years. I love them

I have been using various Salomon shoes for years-have tried other brands that become trendy (or maybe I just like the colors better depending on season)and always go back to these. I just went on a trip where I was hiking twelve to fourteen miles per day for a week and I was the only one in my group who did not get blisters (the other ten people that were there were all wearing other brands). Very comfortable and supportive. Wore through the desert for 32 miles. Breathable. I wish there was a pull tab on the back since they are "slip-on" shoes.

Super comfortable from the onset. I got a little bigger size from my normal so my toes wouldn't get bruised like in my previous shoes. I've had Planter F issues and these totally satisfy my heels and arch issues. Only had them a couple months but I love them. My feet don't hurt anymore.

I chose these shoes after spraining my ankle on a slippery muddy day. Since using these I feel to much more confident running through muddy terrain, they grip so well for rainy days and have been invaluable during my recovery. Like most Salomon shoes they have a narrow, comfortable fit and are cushiony enough for long distances.

I live in these shoes and have worn them now for years. I work, run, walk and even work around the house in them. I wish the bottoms lasted a bit longer but they are like walking on a cloud and I rarely buy any other shoe.

I have bought these trail shoes for the past four years. The Speedcross provides great support and shock absorption, are comfortable and trust on the trails, no matter if they are wet, dry or snowy, as well as any incline or decilne. Will never buy any other shoe. Just wish there were more options for women in regards to colors and types.

These are so comfortable it feels like I'm not even wearing shoes. The wide size option makes all the difference. I have always had foot and heel pain and with these shoes it is almost non existent.

I got these shoes over Christmas as a present, and they are my best shoes ever. I have flat feet and issues with my ankles, so I have to wear custom made orthotics and can't walk barefoot. With these I don't need my orthotics! I couldn't believe how comfortable they were on my first jog, even though it wasn't on a trail, but on pavement with snow and ice patches. When I first tried them on, they felt a bit too tight, but later, they felt like made specifically for my feet. I love how it feels like they hug my feet when I run, and cushion every impact. One day I tried to go back to my previous running shoes and my joints were swollen by the end, I couldn't stand the pain on my shins and I had to take two days off from running. If you have flat feet, and issues with your ankles, go with these ones. I got them in an 8, my usual size. They will feel a bit tight at the beginning, but that's how it's supposed to feel in my experience. I'm actually looking at buying another pair of Salomons but for pavement, since I don't want to wear out the grip, and use these ones for hiking and actual trails.

I bought these shoes for my wife who has just started to go on hikes with me. These are her first hike/trail shoes and she was in love with them. She loved the color(pink/purple) and how great they looked. She used them on a hike we did (5hrs) and said they where super comfortable, her feet did not hurt at all, stayed dry and she never had a slip, even if we had rain, snow and a lot of mud on the hike. Overall great shoes. Would definitely recommend.

Bought these a year ago and despite cringing at teh price, was probably one of my best purchases ever. I have a history of spraining ankles and these shoes have saved me from many falls on rugged terrain. I have very narrow ankles and the adjustability makes them fit perfectly. Best training shoes I have ever purchased, hands down. Ordering a second pair now because I know I will use them.

I've been wearing Speedcross shoes since Speedcross 3 came out and I will say they have gotten better with each revision. The 5's are the most comfortable out of the box, they have just as good of traction as all prior version's, and I can't speak highly enough about how well they wear. I put a lot of mileage per year on these shoes and they typically last me 3 years (I wear them through all 4 seasons). I have 5 pairs currently (two 5's and three 4's) and rotate between a few and have the other pairs on standby because I love them that much! They tear through mud, tough technical terrain, snow, etc. I won't ever buy another trail shoe as long as these continue to look/feel the way they do now.

Hard to find a wide shoe so this filled the bill. Sturdy shoe, attractive and great support.

Somehow these shoes make me feel confident! I feel like every step is very grounding in these shoes on trails I just feel very stable in these and they make me a little taller!! Love the way these feel and grip the trail!
