LOVE these shoes! This is my 3rd pair! Love them for hiking and trail running- the tread is super gabby coming down rock and knock on wood, I haven't slipped! All my friends slip though! Love the molded heel cup to offer stability as well! I have 1 pair for hiking and trail running, another pair for road running and these are just for wearing! HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a trail running shoe or hiking!!

So far the soles are sturdy and grab the rock and dirt well. They seem to absorb a lot of the impact from running too. Happy this far...

I bought these shoes almost a year ago, and my family still loves them. When I outgrew them, my mom started using them and we both love them. They're great for biking as well as hiking and running. They don't give any blisters and have great arch support and are grippy and flexible.

These shoes are truly awesome! The slip-on technology makes them easy to get on and off. I have a bunion under my right big toe and these shoes are roomy enough to feel comfortable. They seem to have a lot of good grip. They are attractive shoes, to boot! Highly recommend.

I bought a pair 2 years ago and fell in love with them. Then I got other brand sneakers and my feet were not having it. I finally have to order me speed cross 5 so my feet can stop hurting. And I was not disappointed.

My daughter loves these shoes. Her feet are narrow and size 10, and we have finally found good shoes that fit her. She wore them hiking all around southern Utah and was so happy to have them.

Nice and light weight but rugged enough to last a long time, I think. I usually buy the XA Pro 3D but decided to try to find a shoe with a tighter weave fabric over the toes as I find that my socks/toes get a little dirty when I'm working out in the yard.
I guess the only bad thing (to me) I can say about the new shoes is that I really miss the convenience of having the pull loop on the back of the heel to help me in putting them on easier.

I purchased the Speedcross 5 shoes about a month ago and couldn't be more happy! I am constantly on my feet at work but these shoes are so comfortable and supportive. I will definitely buy another pair.

I have bought some variation on the Salomon speedcross every year or so for the last 7 years. These shoes are incredibly durable, comfortable, amazing for hiking and running and grippy as HELL! I love these for scrambling in joshua tree, running in the city, working out at home or just to the grocery store they're amazing. the zip-tie style laces are great and they haven't broken even on my oldest pair. Any time I take a trip and don't bring a trip of speedcross im like wtf is wrong with me. It took 3+ years for one pair to have the sole wear down and they are still great. Love these things. I have high arches and I like a little toe wiggle room and they are perf. Also weirdly they are in fashion right now, so there's that too. I think they make my feet look kinda small, which is fine. Anyways, hell yes, Speedcross FOREVER.

I had heard good things about these shoes, and was so excited that there was a wide version. It's super hard finding wide width shoes, especially for women. I bought these primarily for running around on the grass (playing frisbee and volleyball), and they've been really great for those purposes! The shoes are so comfortable, and I find that I want to use these for even more things (like hiking). I hope Salomon continues to make wide width shoes so that I can buy another pair when this one is run to the ground!

These shoes are so comfortable and stable! They helped me keep my footing during a 30K trail race in the rain. The surface was muddy, leafy, rocky with steep inclines and steep downhill portions and the whole time my feet felt great!

My second pair. Any Salomon shoe is incredible. The cushioning is very supportive and comfy for long runs, the grip is perfect for wet days or descending down a janky mountain terrain, and the zip cord shoe string system is THE best for those tiny adjustments. I love them.
