This is my fourth pair of Speedcross 5. Liked the first pair and that hasn't changed. My go to shoe for days on the AT.

I've owned Speedcross shoes since their existence. There will never be less than two pairs in my quiver of Salomon shoes.

I've hiked in these for 3 years. Never gotten a blister. The wide helps a lot. Most comfortable shoe ever

Just bought my second pair. These are the best trail shoes ever!!!

These are my 4th pair, 3 regular and one GTX. As designed, these are phenomenal on the trail and equally great as an everyday shoe. Although the soles wear faster on the road or sidewalk, the level of comfort the shoe delivers makes it a fair tradeoff. Absolutely my favorite footwear.

I've had the Speedcross 5 since it's release, and it's the trail shoe I constantly go to. Besides just looking dang good and being super comfortable, it does exactly as described. Quality shoe for getting dirty outside!

I am a RN. I own 8 pairs of these shoes and they are the best 12 hour shift shoes I have ever worn. They are also amazing in the Rockies!!!

Have owned this pair of SPEEDCROSS 5 now for 6 weeks. Very happy with the purchase and fit. Supremely comfortable and an even better fit that my previous generation Speedcross 5's. Would recommend.

I'm hiking the Appalachian trail rn and have found these to be awesome for muddy areas. However I wouldn't recommend them for rocky areas they can slip quite easily on moist smooth Rock the same with most shoes that features a deep lug pattern. This is my second pair and will definitely get a third.

This is the most comfortable trail shoe I have ever worn and I cannot understand why Salomon have stopped producing it, other than the fact it has been poorly promoted. I only came across them my accident. For slightly older active people who develop a wider foot there is very little choice on the market. Stupid decision. If I don't buy my trail shoes from the website I won't be regularly visiting the web site and inevitably buying other items. Poor decision based on sales instead of the fact the target market is not aware of the product.

Bought the "wide" version of the salomon speedcross to get the extra space in the toe box. Difference is amazing! Have run 9 Spartan races, just this weekend 3 of them in the West Virginia mountains. The lug grip is amazing, and the comfort level and stability of the shoe is great. A real "10". They obviously paid attention to feedback from people to create a great shoe!

I bought these shoes a week ago and just wore them on a hike today. I have to say I have never worn a more comfortable shoe. After buying them I read a review and found they are not primarily hiking shoes, but trail running shoes. They are superb when walking on rocky or soft terrain, I can verify that. I can accept that, but hope walking and hiking on hard surfaces do not lead to premature wear of the soles. I hope to have these a long time.

I have a narrow foot and high arch. In April I got plantar fasciitis. These shoes hug my feet and provide stability. Best shoes for me. I ordered another pair.

This is my second pair of Speedcross 5 trail shoes and they are great right out of the box. Ran a 6 mile, 1,700 ft elevation gain route and they performed great on the trail. Tread is great for trail running and they fit my feet perfectly. Love the quick laces so you don't have to mess around with tying anything. Well made shoes.

I've had the 5s almost a year now having to drop half size from the 4s, which were my perfect fit. Speedcross disappear on your feet, although I have a little more movement on downhills than the 4s. I normally run hills and woods, with sometimes rocky trails. No races this year for obvious reasons. I'll get another pair without a doubt, but would also like something almost identical but with more cushioning for longer distance on stony surfaces as a second pair for dry summers. Any advice Salomon? Ultra glides maybe? Love these shoes.

These are the best shoes I've bought in over a decade. Very easy to get on and off and the draw string is fast and easy. This is my second pair
