I bought these to use primarily as golf shoes and they have been perfect. I walk 18 holes and they are comfortable and give good grip. I've also used them to hike. They fit extremely well and look great. This is my first pair of Salomons and I'm about to buy a second pair.

I have two pairs of these shoes that I wear at work. Feels like I'm walking in gel pads, and they look fab!

I have been wearing SpeedCross from the first Generation. One can not go wrong with this model for all conditions of trail conditions. Excellent traction in snow, mud and wet surfaces. The Goretex versions I am waiting for additional inventory sizing. So popular!!

This is my second pair of SPEEDCROSS 5 shoes and from here on out the only ones that I will buy! I love the comfort and lightweight of the shoe! They fit perfectly and I hardly notice that I am wearing them at all. Thank you Salomon for a great product!

Good grip. Comfortable and light. Seem durable, fit true to size

This is my third set of Solomon's in the past year and a half. And these are the most comfortable yet. They've fixed some small issues from the previous version of this shoe. It has a thicker outsole at the heel and stickier, grippier treads. The sizing does run a little bit tight. I am normally a size 10. I am wearing a size 10 in these but I will say if you wear them all day your toes might start to feel a little bit cramped. Not enough to bother me. I actually bought a second identical pair in a different color way because I love this shoes so much

From my be great tour of duty to the next. These are by far my favorite running style shoe. Great on the range, great at the mall, great meeting up with the boys at Chilis. Don't hesitate. Just buy em.

Speedcrosses and I go back to the first Speedcross model and they have never let me down. Conventional or waterproof version, whatever the terrain (they do so well on rocky, technical trails and in the woods, it surprised me to see them not listed as a mixed terrain) - they aren't just for soft, muddy ground. And don't worry about the weight - as a mid-packer, I find Speedcrosses fine for half-marathon trail races.
