These shoes fit right out of the box! Waterproofing is great as well! The only complaint I have is that the laces could be a couple inches longer since I have to double tie them so they don’t come undone. Great purchase!

Comfortable. Have worn on many hikes and also to Firefly Music Festival for the 2 muddiest days. I wear 10m and they fit perfectly.

Great shoes! Comfortable, sturdy, completely waterproof, love the dark gray with touches of blue. I have a weak left ankle and these help add stability. I’m usually a size 8 in running shoes and went with an 8 here and they’re perfect—can wear with thin or thick socks.

They look good and they’re comfortable, including a wide toe box. Lots of arch support too.

I used to wear Moab's but then I developed plantar fasciitis and needed to change shoes. I love wearing these shoes! They have a roomy toe box, hit my arch perfectly, and don't feel like I am sliding out the back when walking. I have to wear waterproof shoes because I live in the Pacific Northwest, but that's a great trade off when one can find decent waterproof shoes.

I really loved these shoes. Unfortunately, I decided to return them because the photo did not clearly show that it has shoelaces. I am unable to tie the shoes because of surgery. I also bought this model in size 5.5, which was a big tight. Both went back to Zappos. Thank you for the good service.

I a big fan of merrel and this one in particular is my first. i have just started to wear this just a week so far so good it helps my plantar fasciitis to be tamed but we ll see.??

I think these hiking boots are exactly what I needed; boots to repel water, good support & comfortable. That being said, I have to return because of an issue with my feet. A wider size in the toes would mean a wider heel area, which is already a little too loose.

Love theses shoes! I walk a couple of miles every day, on gravel, dirt and sometimes mud and they are perfect for all surfaces. Fit is true to size and they are lightweight but still rugged.

The 10 fit perfectly BUT, with my hiking sox and considering the amount of time I would be walking, I went with the 10.5

I’m very happy I purchased these hiking shoes. They fit perfectly and there was not a “break in” period, they were perfect from the beginning. I wear a 10.5 and the fit was true. I’ve been hiking many times in these shoes. Did 5 miles in snow and my feet were warm and dry at end of hike. They’re lightweight which I like. Highly recommend.

First tested them on a 3-1/2 mile walk. They gripped the snow and ice extremely well. They were immediately comfortable and I didn't need to break them in. Great hiking shoes!

It’s very comfortable!

I love the look of the shoe. I went out for my normal 3 mile walk and could not finish because my toes were getting numb. Just too tight and heavier that I thought they would be,so I am returning them.

I admit to owning ALOT of many Merrells, but as usual these fit great, look good and feel like they have great support.

While they weren't the color I wanted (charcoal wasn't available in my size and I didn't want to wait) these shoes fit perfectly and were comfortable from the first time I wore them. I would buy them again. I have two big dogs to walk every morning and was looking for a warm, waterproof shoe and these have been perfect.
