Fabulously comfortable for winter walking! Well constructed and they give support in all the right places.

I have been walking every day during the Covid 19 pandemic. My feet we're getting tired so I knew it was time for new shoes. The new Alverstone shoes are very sturdy and comfortable. It was a great choice for me- not too heavy but good support. My feet are happy!

I love my new Merrell Alverstone shoes! The fit is a little smaller than I'm used to so had to order a half size up. They are very supportive and comfortable for daily wear. I use them for running errands and walking the dog. Fashionable and practical, just what I was looking for!

These are very comfortable with the right amount support. I have a high arch and these have plenty of space. They don't cut into my ankle as some shoes do.I love them! I ordered a half size larger because I know they run small. I have other Merrells that are the same so I knew. They fit right out of the box. So comfortable!

Love the comfort in the toe box. Was able to hike for 4 hours without any pain right out of the box. Great Shoes!!!

These have quickly become my favorite go-to shoe, even in hot summer weather. They keep my feet feel extremely stable - important when walking my frisky dog on local trails - and they're so comfortable I frequently forget to take them off when I get home. Thanks for a great boot, Merrell!

Bought this for my girlfriend. They fit her just fine and also very comfortable whenever she used them for her first hike. Fit as expected

All that pandemic walking has caused some Achilles tendonitis. I'd sort of ignored it for a while, but couldn't anymore after helping my boyfriend move. I realized that I needed more ankle support and my sneakers weren't going to cut it. I ordered these and the Chameleons, which are going back because they're too snug in the toe, but both models provide excellent support. I did get a blister from these, and called customer service to try and figure out which shoe if any might help. They were so helpful, determining that these run about a half size long on me, and suggested a combo of non-medical support socks with thicker socks, which not only help with stability but eliminate blisters. Along with daily icing and rest, I'm walking comfortably again.

These are so unbelievably comfortable, I own quite a few pairs of Merrill's and I love every single one, most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.
