Had to return because they just seemed a bit narrow on my foot. I have other Merrell that fit fine, so just this style.
I'd also recommend:

I am very pleased with this shoe - the toe box is very wide, the sole has good grip and it's very comfortable. What is does have which other reviews have stated, is a very high arch support. And the sole is a bit thicker than what a true minimalist shoe would be - I think the specs say 11/11.5 mm and true minimalist shoes are around 3.5-5mm. So if your looking for minimalist, this isn't it. But if your looking for almost minimalist and very comfortable (and don't mind arch support) this is a great shoe. I rotate between these and my Vapor Gloves (which are really minimalist and I love) so my arches still get a work-out. As for size - I wear an 8 Merrell and I ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly.

I loved these shoes! Sleek, light and comfortable ... well, except for the arches. I never thought I’d say this about any shoe, but these have too *much* arch support! Standing still, neither my heels nor my toes touched the ground. And since the insoles aren’t removable, I couldn’t replace them with something flatter.
I also was concerned that the soles were a bit too narrow. I like wide, flat soles so I can use a corner to grip a rock.
But they are gorgeous!

I have worn trail glove shoes before and loved them but couldn't remember what size I wore in the past. I went with the advice on the website to size down 1/2 size and after wearing them for a couple weeks, I have to finally admit that the shoe is too small and that I should have ordered my regular size. I'm bummed to waste this pair but my toes keep bumping against the front. I'll be ordering my regular size but otherwise, love these for every day wear and for working out.

I wear size 11.5 US or 43 EU and have had to buy men's sport shoes to fit my long fins. I was so excited to read recommendation to order 1/2 size smaller than one's regular show size. I've always wanted the prettier colours available in women's shoes. So I ordered size 11. Big mistake!
The shoe is beautiful. I also love the arch support and narrower width (compared to men's shoe) in the women's trail glove5. I prefer to run barefoot on the sand and the water's edge to let my foot fully flex when running.. When that is not feasible, trail gloves are my next best choice.
Unfortunately for me, these run true to size and the size 11 is a half size too small for me. My toes hit the front of the shoe. I will be returning these and reordering the men's trail glove. :-(

This is my 4th pair of trail gloves. The most recent pair, the sole started peeling off way earlier than it should have so we will see about the quality of this model. Otherwise I love these shoes or I wouldn't be ordering them again.

First of all, I have to say I love the trail glove shoes. On the recommendation of Merrill's customer service, I bought a half size larger, 8 1/2, than usual for my first pair of the Trail Glove 4. Perfect. When reading the recommendation for the 5 it was advised that you order half a size smaller than other Merrill shoes. I ordered a size 8. I think I should have ordered the 8 1/2 as I think these are a little small. They definitely feel smaller than the trail glove 4 that I ordered.
I love the shoe, the arch support and the flashy color so I will keep these. These seem to have more arch support than the 4 which is perfect for me. However, I will order the half size up (8 1/2) next time.

Extremely light shoe. Fit as expected, but I felt like one improvement on the shoe could be a sqishy more cush feel on the front half of the sole. They're cute and I love them! Can I have a pair in black, and green and blue too! :)

Wow, these have way more arch support than I was expecting - probably the tallest arch I have ever experienced in off the shelf shoes. I like them, although it'll be interesting to see how my feet react after a long day of wear. They aren't as soft/flexible as my old New Balance minimalist shoes, but these have just a slight bit more padding, which makes them more comfortable on hard floors. For me, they're keepers.

The Trail Glove feels like it's built on a rock climbing shoe platform. The structure forces the foot into a somewhat supinated stance. I have very high arches and extremely narrow feet. Getting the laces tight enough was a challenge. It seems like a simple fix to make any shoe more accommodating by adding an extra row of lacing holes or tethers, not sure why no one has done this yet. In any case, they are very lightweight. I have been wearing the NB Minimus for quite awhile and decided I wanted to give Merrell a try. They both have their pros and cons. I feel that the Trail Glove offers more direct arch support through the sole of the shoe while the Minimus relies on the lacing harness. I cannot speak to the longevity of the soles, but the grip and feel/transfer is excellent. Not a fan of the shoe interior which becomes slippery/slimy with sweat. I prefer not to wear socks in a barefoot runner because BAREfoot runner, so it caused some problems for my personal preference. Overall I like the shoe, it does not translate very well to road surfaces but that's to be expected. I was able to complete mile long sections of road without too much trouble.

I love merrel shoes, even though my feet are too wide. I even tried buying men's, but that did not help at all. My shoes still ripped in three places. Guess i'll have to settle for some not as cute shoes elsewhere.

i got these shoes because of the 'bare foot' wear, as my feet heat up. They were ok but experienced some rubbing on the top of my foot. I wear socks with them and they good. Should have gotten a 1/2 size smaller as recommended.

I really like these shoes. My only issue is that I would like the toe box a little bit bigger, but the toe box is moving in the right direction from previous generations.

This was my first foray into minimalist/barefoot shoes and I ordered these ones after trying on a bunch of different brands/styles in a store and not finding any that were quite right. Based on the Merrell styles I had tried I thought I'd take a chance on this one. I'm usually a 10.5 or 11, so I ordered a 10.5. I think the length was pretty typical of a 10.5, but this seems like quite a high-volume shoe to me. I do have a wider forefoot and narrower heel, so I'm used to just making do with shoes that are a bit too loose for me in the heel. But these fit almost like a men's size - I had tried on some men's styles in store, including a Merrell Bare Access style from last year, and the sizing and volume of the shoe was super similar. I don't know if there is any real difference between the men's volume and women's volume but there should be! Anyway it was not the right shoe for me, but otherwise I thought it would have been a fun shoe to try out.

I normally buy Size 11 because I have long, narrow feet but I have to exchange them for a 10.5. They are cute although I know that they are not the same shoe that is shown in the video. I actually like the style in the video better but I couldn't find it anywhere. Also, no matter how tight I tied them, it still felt like I didn't have enough support on the insides of my feet. Like my foot and ankles slanted inward because the fabric and/or material wasn't strong or firm enough to hold and support my foot. They are kind of too straight on the outside of the show which seems to push my foot inward. Not much flexibility on the bottom of the show either. That's why I'm trying to go down a half size to see if this will help with the sizing and comfort. I will update my post again when I receive the new size.

I love these shoes and how comfortable they are AT FiRST.
But after several months, an area in the front side wears through and makes a visible hole. Its not like I'm hard on shoes either! Just normal walking around the house and going to and from appointments.
For the price of the shoes especially, its very disappointing that they have this design flaw!

Replaced my Trial Glove 4's after wearing all the way through the soles.
The build quality of the 5's seems just as remarkable, however they changed the fit. The 5's are noticeably narrower through the mid-foot; when I walk, my 5th metatarsal is noticeably off the edge of the sole of the outside of the shoe. I'm worried that they won't last as long because of the extra pressure on the stitching in that area.
Losing the half-tongue / half-elastic style shoe was a real shame. The normal lace up style tongue feels like a much more restrictive build.
Sizing up .5 of a size may help, but I'm worried then they'll just be too long and too big everywhere else.
Overall, still one of the best shoes out there; just worse than its predecessor.

This is my first pair of Merrell's and I LOVE these shoes. I wish I could give it a higher rating. I wear them work as a delivery driver they are very light on the feet. The vibrant sticky sole is awesome and the arch support is great. I notice a difference when I switch shoes while working my feet hurt from wearing other shoes all day. The moisture wicking is ok. I wish the were waterproof instead. I'm not sure how many miles these shoes last but my sole is wearing down which is expected but I'm seeing the foam layer in some places and the side sole is peeling away from the side slightly. Also at the edge of the toebed on the side corner at the front where it's fabric and kind of a plastic material its starting to fray and the plastic is pulling away. Overall I would purchase them again.

I wanted to love these shoes. I am barefoot as much as I can be. So, I thought I would try the minimalist shoe for walking. I should have returned them for 1/2 size bigger BEFORE I walked 12 miles in them (training for a charity event & couldn't wait). My toes hurt so bad that I took them off the last 1 1/2 miles & walked barefoot. So, I highly recommend that you be sure the shoes are comfortable or take the time to exchange them. I will say that I believe they would have been perfect if I would have done that!

The minute I put these on, they hurt. They are probably a great running shoe but not for someone with Plantar Fasciitis.
The jungle moc slip on is the best for PF.

These shoes super comfortable! The only thing is I don't feel much heal support. I am looking into different ways to tie the laces for more heal support. I ordered a size smaller to see if they would fit better but those were just way too small. Other wise great shoes!

I really like the low profile and minimal support of this shoe. They fit well and are very comfortable.
I realize they are a trail shoe but most of my activity is on pavement/cement. After a month of use, my shoes are definitely showing wear. These shoes are probably best reserved for trail/grass surfaces.

I ordered my Glove 5 shoes on line and paid extra attention to the sizing recommendations. When the shoe arrived it was more purple in color than what I expected, which was blue with a bit of purple. I only got as far as trying one shoe one. It was way too snug and tight. I really needed a wide version which they do not make in this particular shoe. I had to send them back and am now looking for another model. If someone has a narrow foot these shoes will probably fit great. Other than not fitting properly, the shoe itself appeared to be what I was looking for which was a light weight, breethable shoe for daily summer use on the trails.
