Shoes are great. There is no support as they are basically a piece of rubber on the bottom of you foot. Just what I needed. I opted for a half size smaller than usual as I wouldn't wear with socks, and it fit like a glove (ha!).

I found these shoes to be very comfortable; even more comfortable than my Xero sandals. I wear a 10.5 and ordered a 10.5. The toebox is great. Where the toebox on many athletic shoes "close in" to a cleaner overall show profile, the toebox on the Vapor is wider than the heel of the shoe allowing my toes to fully spread out when standing, walking, etc. My wife says they make my feet look like a platypus, but I like comfort.

Almost perfect, these are a barefooters dream shoe. I’ve run nearly exclusively in VFF for the last 8 years but wanted something less conspicuous and that I could wear socks with. If VFF are gloves, these are mittens, offering the same ground feel and nearly not there feeling while offering a completely enclosed toe box. The previous iterations of these ran long, like silly long, but they seem to have reigned that in a bit with the Vapor Glove 4s. Still a little longer than seems necessary, and toe box width could be increased a smidge, but regardless these are very good. If you’re going to wear these barefoot I would definitely size down at least 1/2-1 full size. These are basically just a very thin outsole with a thin flimsy upper, no cushioning, so ease into the mileage or risk your calves screaming at you for a week.

A nearly proper barefoot shoe - a little narrow still in the toe box, but great flexibility, lack of unnecessary arch support, toe spring, and heal lift. Nice to see, better to wear.
I'd also recommend:
LEMS, Vivobarefoot, Luna Sandals, Xero, Altra

Everything seemed fine, but after only wearing these for a little over two months, I noticed the toe material was already wearing thin, and holes were forming. This was disappointing, as I had only worn them for walking around the neighborhood and such, always on smooth pavement. I had heard nothing but positive feedback on this shoe maker, and expected to get many years of use from these shoes. I had very much enjoyed wearing them, and felt that they were just what I needed. I had never worn "minimalist" or "barefoot" shoes before, and really enjoyed the experience. I am left to wonder whether I should have taken some sort of precautions, due to the apparent delicate nature of the sole material.

First time trying minimalist type of shoe. They fit okay, but about a half size larger than typical running or walking shoe. I have walked in them for a couple of hours and it will take time to get use to the lightness and very close contact with the ground. Can easily feel pebbles, twigs on trails and incongruities on pavement, almost like barefoot. Next time will size a half size down.

Perfect fit, laces came in shoe and have cuts in them? Not a big deal but kinda weird.

I was debating on the Vibram FiveFingers but they are hideous. The style of the Vapor Glove isn't amazing but much more acceptable. 3 mile run out of the box feIt great. Finally replaced my New Balance MR00s and wish I had done it a long time ago. Great road feel and traction. I could definitely feel sharp rocks under my feet, so they give a minimal amount of protection while still maintaining barefoot feel. They are very lightweight but seem durable.

I love these shoes. I had the Merrell Vapor Glove 2 for a couple of years which I'm just retiring now. I tried both these and the 3 and felt that these fit a lot better. As some of the reviewers note for this shoe and for the 3, the 4 is narrower which better for me. I also think from a style perspective, these are a big upgrade over the previous versions. Only thing I wish these had that the 2 has (and maybe the 3?) is a little loop on the heel to help me get the shoe on easier.

I’m 9.5 and had to get the size 9. Feels great. Barefoot feel without the fingers. The finger shoes are more barefoot like but I didn’t mind sacrificing that for the normal shoe look

I like these. Light and airy. Good flexibility. Fit on a size 11 is nearly identical to a 12 in the trail glove.

Great shoe! Super comfortable and was my favorite shoe to wear. Wonderful build quality. These shoes were worn until the middle of the sole was gone and the rest of the shoe was still in great shape.

Pretty good shoe. I use it for hiking and going out on walks. Haven't noticed any ripping, little holes or other forms of degradation.

I liked these shoes so much I got a second pair. Then a third. I find them comfortable, lightweight, easy to slip on/off - just all around a terrific minimalist shoe. I wear mine around urban environments, walking, running, and biking. Although the sole does wear flat (not surprising for it's thickness and my use) it still hasn't worn through, even on my oldest pair with gets the most abuse. If running in a high dust environment, fine particulate can filter through the upper in the toe box area, but that is not a problem for me and the breathability is worth it.

Excellent shoe. Minimal shoes are essential for health and these fit the bill. Toe box could be wider

I love these shoes. I can't believe how little they weigh, yet they still provide my feet the protection needed. Can't wait to get another colorway.

I wear these primarily to play disc golf, which I often do at a brisk jog, and so far they are holding up well and providing the open toe approach to minimalist running I want without the dangers of completely bare feet (especially in Texas). These feel more barefoot than Five Fingers [tm] as you aren't constantly stopping to pull flowers from between your toes (which wouldn't happen if you were actually in bare feet) and yet your toes aren't crowded as they would be in a hiking moc or trainers. The sole is more flexible than FFs (less enforcement layers) -- however this also means you need to watch where you step as sufficiently sharp rocks are painful underfoot in a way they are not with FF's. For me, a trade worth taking, on the whole, as rocks aren't something I have to worry about too much along the Gulf Coast (but I did notice while visiting Chandler AZ). No clue how well this sole would hold up over sustained use on paving, but then its a trail runner, isn't it. The mesh upper breathes wonderfully (even in the summer heat) and the shoe overall is almost weightless. I have found the laces are sufficiently adjustable these could be worn with or without socks with no need to own two pair in different sizes, but I always wear socks here simply because I don't want to risk the potentially permanent foot odor which could develop given local weather conditions most of the year. If you're somewhere which stays relatively cool, or has almost no humidity year round, these would be a great choice to wear without socks.

The shoes are still in great condition after walking 1000+ miles on pavement and sidewalks. The heels were patched after ~450 miles; the forefeet after ~750 miles; the large toes after ~900 miles. I hope to walk an additional 1000+ miles. Cheers, Merrell!

This is my go-to running shoe; zero drop and just enough sole to protect my feet from broken glass while providing ground feel and allowing plenty of room for toe splay. I use these for everything up to Marathon distances, which is my target race. If you are coming from a more common shoe with padding, drop, and little room for your feet to spread, take some time to work these into your rotation as your feet will have to build strength.

I bought these for casual walks and running errands, they're super cute. They do require socks because the tongue rubs on the top of my foot.

I originally bought the Trail Gloves, which I loved, then decided to try the Vapor Gloves to go for more of the barefoot feel. Love them! I've been running 5 miles every day in them for the past few weeks and they're great. They're really comfortable and feel snug.
