Fits great, great for lower body workouts!

Love the feel of being closer to the ground

These are the most comfortable shoes especially for the toes with the wide toe box. No "breaking in" period, these fit great straight out of the box. Between my spouse and me, we have 5 pair of Merrell shoes. We use these for both trails and in the gym. Having the zero drop heels matters to us.

I purchased these to replace my Vapor Glove 3s, and so far these are even better. They feel like the soles are of a stiffer, more durable material than the 3s. I haven't encountered any problems with these, such as the odd toe crease on the 3s. I would definitely purchase these again.

Very good fitting, minimalist shoe. Good for working out, sprinting. Would recommend for anyone who is used to minimalist shoewear.

I have never worn a shoe like this before but I do enjoy being barefoot so I thought I'd give it a try. First of all I wear about a 12-13 in athletic shoes so I got a 12 which ran big so I returned it for a 11.5 it fits perfect. It definitely is a cool feeling wearing this shoe and I have narrow feet so it really hugs my foot well and gives me room for my toes. This is probably my favorite and most comfy shoes I have ever owned. I have ran in them on cement which hurts, but on grass it is a lot comfier. I am assuming it takes some getting use to. I do about 10 miles a day with these shoes and wear them to work and workout and all the time. My only issue I am having with this shoe is that it seems that the bottom of the shoe is pulling away from the top and it looks like there is glue from it. I did see this in other reviews. Hopefully they last long because I love these shoes and I would recommend them as being a first time minimalist shoe person.

I've been wearing Merrells for years, so I already know I love minimalist shoes. But the vapor glove 4 really takes the shoe minimalism to a new level. This shoe feels like a freestanding sock, and to a certain extent looks like one too. When I picked up the box it was so light I wasn't even sure there were shoes in it. When you walk around you can feel *everything*. The only thing you can't feel is the shoe itself. I love this shoe, but if you don't like minimalist shoes this is definitely not the shoe for you.

Just a quick update to my previous review. I've run in the VG4 without socks a few times now. Interestingly, the VG4 3D is a near perfect fit with light cushion running socks while the VG4 is a near perfect fit without socks. Even in these scenarios, the VG4 fits a bit snugger than the 3D. This may or may not help when others are trying to determine sizing.

You've probably all heard the story of the guy who had constant foot pain and couldn't run 3 miles consistently without getting injured. That was me until these shoes. After the initial period of getting adjusted to them nearly all of my leg and foot joint pain is GONE. I can run ten miles of hills in these things and I just end up with the appropriate level of muscle soreness but not joint pain. I honestly can still hardly believe it. Not to mention they are cool looking, and I get asked about them all the time. Thanks Merrell, you have a convert.

This is the best Merrel shoes I have bought specifically for its Vibram sole which really feels like walking barefoot. I thought I would never get the same feel and quality from the old one I had that is worned out beyond use, LOL.

This is a great barefoot shoe. Definitely give yourself some time to adjust if this is your intro into minimalist shoes. The shoes run a but small. I had to order a whole size down. Other than that, they're perfect.

Love wearing these outdoors when I'm out walking and fishing.

It was really light weighted. When they said it would feel so bare footed it does so too!!

I recently tried the vapor glove 4 for the first time, and wore them to an obstacle course race. I have been looking for a comfortable shoe that has a barefoot feel to them (I personally need this option for balance obstacles), and flexibility and grip- these shoes definitely fit the bill! I love these shoes, and I'll definitely be buying some more for ninja warrior training and obstacle course racing!

I've been wearing Vapor gloves for over a year now. I use them for every day wear and a separate pair for running. I'm pleased again with the vapor glove 4. I recently upgraded from a pair of vapor glove 3s and the 4s have the same fit and lightweight feel I was looking to maintain. Another great product.

Really great shoe. Comfortable and flexible but still enough traction and protection

just got myself a pair of these bad boys and was able to run a 8:24 mile!I am hoping that they can handle gravel trails as i do alot of running on both road and trail.If your on the market for minamlalist barefoot shoes these are the way to go.

Beautiful design, bright colors and incredibly light!

These shoes are ideal for my active lifestyle. I'm a personal trainer and I also run in ultra marathons. The Vapor Gloves have a barefoot feel and therefore allow for natural movements and maximum mobility. I don't get fatigued when wearing these shoes.
