Decided to purchase a minimalist option to add to my more supportive shoes. Really enjoy running in these Merrell's - super comfortable, super light and just overall a really nice "real" running experience. Great shoes overall, and totally deserving the online ratings of a brilliant minimalist running shoe.

I was looking for a zero drop shoe with just enough sole to protect my feet from pebbles, but not so much that my feet don't feel the ground. These are perfect. I'm only worried they're going to be discontinued!

This is my fourth pair of vapor gloves. Great running shoes. Good for working out as well. Sizing is on point. Only complaint is that the lip of the shoe during every run moves to one side and needs adjustment but that's a minor inconvenience and shouldn't affect everyone.

I love these shoes. They have a great barefoot feel, lightweight & comfortable!

These shoes have been great. They are super comfortable, and they feel like you are hiking barefoot.

As described, this is a true barefoot shoe. The traction & foot control is unlike anything I have ever felt before. The shoe is comfortable even without socks, but running on pavement takes getting used to. If I could change it in any way, I would only make the toe box a little bit wider. Another key feature worth mentioning; these shoes are very lightweight, which makes them comfortable in a barely aware they're there way.

These are truly barefoot. They are super comfortable shoes, and you can feel everything that is underneath your feet. If you want to feel like you have socks with sole, these are the shoes for you. I use them around the house and for work. I work standing and walking for 8:30 hours straight, and they have proven to be superior. At first you need to train your calf for endurance. After you reach that point, it will be all joy. You cannot go wrong with them.

These shoes are amazing. I've been dealing with sural nerve pain and unable to get comfortable in nearly any shoe for almost six years. I've had little to know pain since I received these. These shoes feel so good I'd probably pay three or four times what they cost.

I ordered 1/2 size down based on previous reviews. They fit perfectly and are comfortable all day.

I have had trouble with the women's shoe pressing on the top of my big toe. The men's version has more room in the toe box and works for me. I wear these for long hikes and they are holding up well.

these are superb a cut above the rest of merrells "barefoot" shoes. These offer the closest to barefoot you can get from merrell everything else has way too much padding under my foot i cant stand the trail gloves and although i love my luna 3 leathers i would never run trails in them (theyre for work). I want the rocks cutting thru my soles and these are the only ones that offer me this. Also the fit are perfect if you know your actual shoe size. I have to get a few more pairs before these become unavailable and i become limited to luna sandals for running.

My daughter has enjoyed her trail gloves for quite a some time now and once my crazy-growing son can figure out what size he is, I think he'll love his, too!

This is my third pair of Merrill minimal trainers. They are comfortable, stylish, functional and durable.

Love these as a substitute for going barefoot. I wear a size 15 and therefore my options are limited. Luckily Merrell makes a well built, minimalist shoe in my size. I wear them to do everything, from construction work to playing with my kids. I have two pairs, one of which I've worn for almost a year. The tread is wearing down but they still have plenty of life left. I plan on buying several more pairs just in case they stop making them or drastically change them.

I had the vapor glove 3 and now I got the 4. Same comfort and quality at great price.

Great shoe . My second pair . Almost feels like barefoot . Wears well .

My fourth pair. Wear them everyday, all day, to work, the gym, on walks, some lifting, some running. Less likely to trip than with running shoes as the soles wrap around rather than flare out. Don't miss the lack of padding except on roads with large gravel pieces. They are not as warm as conventional shoes. Soles not resistant to large thorns that grow on some trees. Like the light weight, flexibility, rapid drying. Love the barefoot feel and the complete comfort. They do seem to wear out faster than conventional athletic shoes (although the wear seems to be improving slightly with each pair), but they cost, less so I figure the overall cost is about the same. The good news is once they get enough holes in them to become annoying because they let sand and gravel in, they make pretty good boat shoes. Soles don't mar, have fair grip when wet, and dry fast.

Ordering one size down makes these shoes fit perfectly. Feels good. I use it for dragonboatting and it provides comfort and control to the the boat.

I always have a hard time finding barefoot shoes that allow me to spread my toes wide, since I have a wife food. These felt comfortable from the moment o put them on. I work in a kitchen, and though not work safe, I can stand in these all day and still feel comfort.
