Incredibly comfortable. Walked the dog in a rain storm the other day and these kept me dry and moved well with me. Told the wife to expect me to live in these pants from now on.

Lightweight and comfortable. Great hiking pants. Minus one star for no built-in belt.

Great Fabric, Great pants. But sizing isn't really for me. I'm 5' 9" and 166 pounds. I ordered 32" at first and those were butt huggers. Super tight on the butt. And were tight on my waist. So I ordered the 33" and these are actually longer than the 30", so I'm stepping on the pants when I walk without shoes and the waist is loose, so I have to wear a belt. The sizing is weird. Maybe this is a rockclimbing thing. I'm not a rock climber. I'm a morning walker and sometimes hiker. I just like OR and their products, including these very breathable, cool-feeling windproof pants that don't fit right.

A great fit and they do well with blocking wind. They are light weight, so for warmth will pair with base layer. I especially like that it has two pockets on the backside and not just one on the right hand side. I prefer to carry a wallet on the left and cell phone on the right. The zippered pocket is a great sense of security for valuables when the going gets rough.

I bought these because I love my ferrosis I got a few years ago. I wanted another pair in case they ever decided to get away from this pant for some crazy reason. I have done a lot of saltwater flats fishing, kayaking/small river fly fishing, and hiking in these pants. They are incredibly durable, yet light and stretchy in a good way. They dry quick, keep the sun off, and hold up to light scrambling over logs on the trail and up and down creek banks chasing spotted bass. My first pair had a cinch chord around the ankle, they got away from that and I do miss it. I guess the updated model looks better if you are going to grab some drinks at the end of the day though.

I like the pants. They feel light but still rigid enough to resist a good day on the rock. I wear them on any normal day i want something comfy.

Love these pants! They are a daily jogging pant for me even at -16c but they work just as well as a casual headed to the mall staying indoors pants. What I love about these pants: The build is solid and all the buttons and zippers are strong. Material holds up to rubbing against itself as I jog 5 days a week. Not wind proof but enough that i dont feel the need to wear a base layer like with some of my other pants. What I'm NOT loving about these pants: Everywhere else I'm a 32 w 34 L and well these ones are just off. Length is just fine but I'd say that it's more like a 38. Not sure if the pair I got just stretched alot. They seemed fine for the first 2 weeks but then I noticed all the extra room. All in a nice pair of pants tho.

I can't be the first person to suggest this, but these pants need a built-in waist adjuster like the OR Cirque or Prana Zion. If they had that they'd be the best hiking pants on the market.

I got this pants to wet wade in the summer months for fly fishing in the North Georgia mountains, but also find my self wearing to work on hot summer days when I have to work outside. Great material the water just ran right off the pants when I came out of the water, they did hold a little bit of water after being in the water for longer periods, but would drain fairly quickly. They were quick to dry and really comfortable almost to the point that I feel like I was not wearing any pants. I rated them a 4 star due to the stitching that is coming loose in the crotch area(owned for 5 months and worn 12ish times). I started a warranty return due to the stitching coming loose. I'll update on that process when its over.

Great performance and length, but the sizing is big. My waist measures 32 1/4 and after the second try I ended up getting a 30 and still a little on the loose side.

I really like these pants. The stretch fabric is great but I find the pants too loose from the knee down. I just prefer a tighter fit.

I have several pairs of these pants in different colors. The fit is great, extremely comfortable. The little cargo pocket on the left leg has changed from the previous model and I'm not so keen on that.

Great pants. Light and fit well when they are fresh. The stretch is perfect and I dig the zip pocket on these and the shorts. Only reason they don't get 5 stars for me personally is the waistband stretches out a bit too easily, even on day one after a wash. If OR adds an integrated belt into the next generation of these, they will have no equal!

Been biking, hiking, running outside with these for 3 years. Still sturdy. No extra material to impede leg movement. Probably run a little small. Had to try on a few. Drawcord is hideable.

As a member of a Search & Rescue organization, I'm constantly looking for good technical outerwear. These pants have it handled when it comes to lightweight & comfort. I haven't had the chance to put them through the ringer yet, but am confident they will perform well in warm weather, when shorts just don't cut it.

Very light weight. Would have liked another side pocket. But all in all they are great outdoor or casual wear pants.

Great so far! I was worried about the durability, but they seem to be holding up well. I use them for climbing and hiking. Very light weight. Do not breath well.

The pants are extremely comfortable. I like the casual look to them. The front pockets are plenty deep and the zipper side pocket is convenient. My complaint with the pants is how they are only available in 32" inseam. I got super excited when these arrived in the mail and I clipped the tags before putting them on. I'm 5"8/5"9 and the 32" inseam makes the pants too long to wear. The bottom cuff is narrow enough to where the pants won't hang down past your hiking boots, but it still leaves A LOT of fabric bunched up at the bottom near the ankles. I have to roll the pant legs and just wear them around the house because of how long they are.

Great pants. Cons: thigh pocket is a weird size and probably won't be useful. Back pockets are no longer zippered. I would use these for travel. Bottom of legs used to have elastic drawstrings with a cinch; they are now gone so the pants are actually a bit too long. There is still a drawstring, just no cinch.

These pants are just about perfect for hiking and backpacking. The lightweight material allows for breathability and mobility during the summer, while the waterproofing enables them to serve well on winter backcountry trips (when paired with appropriate baselayers). I wore my Ferrosi pants on just about every hike and backpacking trip that I did last year, and they were excellent. My only complaint is that they did wear out rather quickly, and my last pair developed several holes. If your adventures involve quite a lot of bouldering, I would encourage you to look at OR's other options.

I usually wear a 30x30, and bought the short cut variant Ferrosi in 30 waist thinking that would be pretty close. These are still a bit longer than I was hoping. The material feels great and I've continued to use them despite some bunching up around the ankles. They are cool and light, and perform well under a variety of conditions (namely Texas heat so far). If you're a bit on the shorter legged side like me just be aware that you'll have a little extra fabric around,

This is my favorite pair of climbing pants. Feels light but durable. A bit too baggy for my taste but very functional.

Great pant and fit as advertised. A better description would be charcoal grey. Not quiet black
