Very comfortable pair of pants, soft and great for hiking and jungle trekking.

Very comfortable and lightweight pant. I am typically a 31/32 in jeans, but the 32 inseam here is a bit baggy for me (5'10). But, they are a versatile pant as they do well climbing, hiking, and around town. The Umber color is sweet! (if you like orange)

Great hiking pants, breathable and break the wind! DWR finish helps with the light rain as well. The only con I have about these pants is the fit. They are a little baggy on me and a more athletic fit would be great. For reference I am 5'10 - 175lbs.

These pants are great for climbing, especially on warmer days. They're super light and breathable, sometimes I forget I'm wearing pants when I'm wearing these. The downside is that they're only somewhat windproof and they wear out pretty quickly. I tend to wear all my pants out fairly quickly though.

I owned 3 pairs of Ferrosi pants for years and loved them! As somebody else pointed out, this years version has a different thigh pocket and ankle cinches than before, which are slightly less than awesome. I wore the my old pairs for pretty much anything and everything. They weren't too technical looking to be worn out on the town but still great for alpine climbing and hiking and I even found myself wearing them for guiding some friends on spring and summer ski touring missions. If they went back to vertical zip thigh pockets and a better ankle cinch than the current iteration, I would happily replace all the pants I used to have with these again, or the ferrosi crag pants if they bring this back again. Bottom line is, they're still pretty close to perfect and I would still recommend them to friends looking for a lightweight, tough pant.

These pants are SO comfortable. They fit great around the waist and the length is perfect but they're so tight around the Thighs. I'm very disappointed in that reason alone. They're practically leggings. I by no means have huge leg muscles but common. You'd have to be a stick to fit these properly. I am 6'1 and 200 lbs, very little body fat and these are very tight. I'm returning them for a different pair, hopefully they aren't as tight. OTHERWISE I do love them, and would recommend them to a friend.

Light, comfortable, look good. Only complaint is DWR coating is less water resistant than other DWR treated pieces I have. doesn't bead off as easily.

These pants are good, but not as good as the 24/7 pants. They tend to snag and run if you catch them on anything.

Pants are great, material is light and breathes. Only complaint I have is my wallet tends to slip out the top of the back pocket when I sit down.

Very comfortable. Do hold onto sweat more than I thought they would. If you have a muscular lower body they fit a bit like yoga pants but overall very happy with them.

3rd pair of Ferrosi pants, same quality. Have worn busting brush, picking huckleberries and early season hunting. Fast drying and breathable. Not the most durable, but a great warm weather pant for the price. Hip vents would be the only thing I would like to see in the future.

I use these pants in hot summer weather for doing field work and hiking when i can't wear shorts. There are much better than wearing cotton blue jeans in hot & humid weather. .Provide tick protection & dry quickly too.

I live in Southeast Alaska, and these pants have been great for 3-season use in this cooler climate. The fit/cut and the stretch in the fabic are great for mobility - probably my favorite feature. The lack of a zippered pocket big enough for a modern cell phone is a legitimate drawback noted in other reviews.

I use these pants as an all-round pant. They're light and breathable and dry quickly. My only complaint about them is the button style, I liked the button from a season or two ago that snapped flat instead of the current jean style button. Also, the sizing seems different in the inseam between the 36 waist and the 34 waist. Still a great pant, just some minor issues.

These are a great pair of light weight hiking pants. They are extremely thin and flexible and feel like you're wearing nothing at all. Ideal for spring and summer months when you need protection on your legs but don't want to get hot. I normally wear a 33 and had to exchange these for a 32 so take that for what it's worth. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that because they are so thin I am already starting to see signs of wear and know if will have to be replacing them soon.

The ferrosi pants have grown on me exponentially. When I first got them, I was unsure of the material and the fit, but after wearing them again and again I'm a big fan. The fit is still a little strange - a little tight in the seat but loose in the legs - but I've come to appreciate the fit. The great thing about these is that they aren't too heavy so you can wear them even in warmer temperatures. Would recommend.

A really high-quality pair of pants with stretch. I don't love the elastic system at the bottom. I can't quite figure out the best method for using it to cinch the leg, but it's something I wanted for hiking pants, so better than nothing! The overall fit is really great, a bit slimmer than most parachute-like hiking pants. I wear a 30x30 in all my pants, but these are definitely longer than expected and looser on the waist. I noticed this off sizing was common in other reviews. OR charges for returns/exchanges, so I just stuck it out. That's the main reason for the 4-star rating, otherwise a great pair of pants!

Awesome fabric, I'm impressed with its breathability. I should have exchanged the size, the waist was so big. So I recommend the pants for sure but order a few sizes. Sure they are a lot baggy but for the weight they'll be a great hiking pant.

Hiking in these pants is awesome and keeps you cool when the temps are warm. They are thin so I was initially worried about rips but after bush bashing a couple hikes there is no sign of wear at all

I'm reviewing the new version after tearing my much-loved prior version to shreds over 6 years guiding in AK. I'm 6'2", 200 lbs, and wear 34x34 pants. I wear a 33x32 in the Ferrosis. The original Ferrosi pants fit over ski and snowboard boots, as shown below, which was a plus on trips where the approach is below the snowline. The new ones don't but that's OK. I'm motivated to write this review because the versatility of the pockets has been reduced. I need my phone handy while guiding to communicate via inReach and pull up maps. An iPhone X, 11, etc. doesn't fit upright in the small side pocket; the back pockets don't zip, so that's not a secure place for it. The front pockets are shallow, so it doesn't fit there without pushing into my waist when I bend my leg. Overall, a deeper side pocket would greatly increase their versatility.

Terrific material, but the fit was huge. I sized to 32 and it was way too tight, and then I went to 33 and they were falling off. But I can wear them with a belt. Great job OR with these pants, but for pete's sake, could you make a size that fits a morning walker like me?! I'm not using these for rock climbing. Maybe a super tight fit is what you need for that, I don't know.
