This is my third or fourth pair of Ferrosi'a and they're as good as they get. Great for long summer alpine days. Plenty of movement and stretch. My only complaint is that the pants always seem too big and baggy (I'm normally a 32 waist, currently in a 31 Ferrosi)

I wore these pants in the Adirondack High Peaks. 20 miles of herd paths in mud, water, rock and brush. Pants held up very well. Impressed how well they could shed water and didn't wet out. They did suffer a few minor snags but I honestly expected some given the harsh terrain and abuse they withstood. Might buy another pair.

I pretty much only wear these pants anymore for rock guiding and personal rock climbing. Super light and comfy with unrestricted range of motion. Only con is how quick I wear them out, that said I burn through pants super fast and these have held up better than many other popular brands, and fit much better than those brands as well. Please never change these.

Great fit for me. Not a 4 season pant for sure, but ideal weight for summer climbing/hiking, etc.

Comfortable, but a little baggy in the seat
Great for hiking. Could be offered in a shorter length as well

These pants look great, fit well and make me feel good when I wear them. I have a pair of Ferrosis shorts that I wear all the time in the summer and these have a similar fit and feel. The fabric has stretch and is durable. My only comment negative remark would be to comment on the rather bland colour range. Please add a bit of range to the palette.

I now have 3 pairs of these, i love them! Light and comfortable, great for any outdoor activity and particularly nice for climbing because they are very stretchy. Highly recommend! That being said, their only fault is that the stitching does wear out faster than certain other brands but given the enormous price difference they are well worth it!

A well made pant, definitely size up. A little narrow in the thighs

I am impressed with the quality and stretch of the material, but the fit is a bit more relaxed than I prefer. While I will use them, due to the relaxed style, they aren't my go to pant. I like a little more modern fit.

Bought this with a credit, from 2 pairs of voodoo pants that had seam issues. So far these have been exceptional! Breathes well, fits great and has lots of stretch. Use these as causal pants, they look great and for warm- hot weather back country trips. Havn't had them long enough to comment on durability yet, but they feel pretty tough. If they hold up these could become my warm weather go to!

I own 2 pairs, in black and olive. Not sure why every outdoor pant assumes we're 32" tall, so it's nice to get the 30" inseam. This is definitely a summer weight, though I've worn them in northern Midwest early spring cold temps with success. They're pretty tough for how thin they are. Though they seem to get wrinkled like linen and never unwrinkle, which is slightly annoying. And I wish the fit was a bit more tapered, the thin weight seems to flap in the breeze around your ankles. But otherwise these are among my favorite more modern-cut outdoor pants.

I bought my first pair of Ferrosi Pants in Flagstaff, AZ because I loved my Ferrosi Hoodie so much. Magical fabric; the pants would be no different, right? I have worn them regularly for 4 years casually around town, traveling the world, backpacking, and climbing trips. A truly versatile pair of trousers. I recently bought two more pairs because they are so comfortable and "any time" pants. I'm wearing a pair as I write this.
There have been some changes: good and bad. Designers, please take note.
Pros:
-More exact sizing; size 30 regular isn't nearly as helpful as 30x32.
-Removal of the lower knee articulation seams. I think this makes them look better and not so "busy"
-Stitching the cargo pocket on is more durable than the earlier glued seam. My old pair has a "ventilated" pocket right now.
-Deeper front pocket openings. The old design could be difficult to access.
-Waist ties inside the waist band. I know people have differing views of those, but I like having the backup. If you don't like it, pull it out.
Cons (aka, please bring back)
-The original belt loops were much beefier and appeared to be integrated into the waist band more.
-Hem bungee cord locks. The new design uses a flat bungee that you knot to secure. Less bulk and weight, but not easily adjustable.
-The rear pockets used to be zippered. Now they're not. I like the positive closure that zippers afforded both for travel and when you're 50ft. up a cliff face. I got use to jingling when I walked.
Bottom line: Still a great pair of pants. Not much reason to wear anything else unless you're getting married or something. Even then, they come in black.

Mainly used for climbing, but also a comfortable lounging pants. Only knock is that it runs a tad large.

These have been my favorite pants since '17. I just bought 2 new pair and noticed a change to the 5th pocket on the right thigh. It used to be inconspicuously sewn into the inside of the pants but now it's ruggedly stitched to the outside calling to all the world, "hey look at me, I'm a cargo pocket!". I suppose putting stuff in the newly designed pocket might be more comfortable because the old pocket did tend to rub a bit on my leg, but for me, I preferred the way it used to look. For truly superficial reasons, I give these pants 4 stars instead of 5.
They are still comfortable and fit me perfectly (6'0" 180 slender-athletic build). I never would have called these "waterproof" but they do resist rain well but the resistance is not infinite as it will degrade as the fabric wears out and pills. They dry amazingly fast, move and flex such that I could wear them doing any physical activity (running, hiking, lifting, sleeping haha) without any issues. The stitching tends to come undone, especially on the back pockets such that loose change would fall out. The degradation happens after many months of wear and is to be expected but far exceeds my expectations for such a lightweight fabric.
Just a shame about the pocket tho :(

The material is soft and comfortable, very stretchy. The only con is if a person has thicker muscular legs and glutes the pants fit a bit tighter for size.
Good either than that

These pants are very light and comfortable. I got them for when I'll be hiking in the desert and other hot areas, and I am very excited to try them out. Only thing about them I'm not as crazy about is the waist adjustment. It's just a piece of webbing through the waist, so in order to cinch it you have to tie a not, which is fine until you need to pull your pants down to use the restroom. Otherwise very nice pants!

Great pants. Lighter material and a few design changes compared to my previous Ferrosi pants. The drawstring at ankles is now just an elasticized band instead of shock cord enclosure (my only real complaint). Great fit and perfect for hiking and biking in warm weather. Have been wearing this winter over merino base layer and the combo offers great movement.

Have a pair from years ago that's still going strong.
Narrow enough at the ankle that I never used the cinch cord, glad OR got rid of that.
BUT.... this new externally sewed on pocket sucks. It used to be heat-sealed on and looked clean without really impacting stretch. When I saw this sewed-on pocket I thought the pants were counterfeit (until I saw the product picture on this page). Severely disappointed. Doesn't look clean at all. However, the horizontal rather than vertical zipper seems more functional.

I spent a good amount of time researching a new set of pants for hiking. After trying on multiple different brands, these were the clear winners in terms of fabric, fit, and accessories. I look forward to putting miles on them to further verify all the positive research I found on them.

These pants are fantastic. I work in wilderness search and rescue, back country patrol and wildland fire suppression. These pants are lightweight, comfortable, stretchy and just all around great. They are slightly water resistant and when they do get wet, dry incredibly quickly. I purchased a couple pairs and have used they everyday of work since. I've continued to wear them even though we've gotten snow. They don't provide much warmth but, with a light pair of long johns and if I stay moving they've been good so far. Once we really hit dead of winter I'll have to set these aside for something warmer. They do snag on brush or briars but, no rips or holes yet. Given the amount of use I give them, they're holding up reasonably well. In summary, I recommend these pants to anyone who is looking for a lightweight hiking pant or even just a comfortable pair of pants for around the house!

Purchased to replace an older pair. Really like the feel and stretch of these pants. Fit is normal (bought the short pair) in waist and length. Color is as expected: muddy brown. Last pair pilled somewhat in high wear areas (esp. above knee's). Great look and wears well for both work and play. Probably a three season pant unless you live in the south, then you could wear year round.

Very comfortable. Draw string/cord inside waisteline works great. Almost perfect if it had a dedicated pocket for cell phone.

Have one pair already. Great for warm to shoulder season temps. Only concern is that wear shows within a year or so in high use areas. But a great utility pant.

OR Pant waist sizes are just a bit too small than I am expecting. Overall though, lightweight and breathable with a nice stretchy fabric.
