Just spent two weeks in Alaska - hiking, kayaking, canoeing, on the train, bus. Highly recommended

Love taking these on a hiking trip and unzipping the legs. Very convenient to have on hand or legs, LOL I do like the older style from years ago better than the newer ones. They hold up better

I am really enjoying these pants. They were exactly what I was looking for in terms of fit and comfort. They are replacing a 15 year old pair of REI flex-fit convertible pants that have finally worn out. REI changed there convertible pants to the point that I can't stand the new ones. The Ferrosi pants are a perfect replacement - I wish I had switched sooner. The flexible material allows for wide range of motion and they breath well. I can see how they would also provide good wind protection too. I look forward to putting them to the test on my next backpacking trip later this summer. Until then I will keep using them on my dayhikes.

I got these for my bikepacking trip where I wanted to have shorts for the ride and pants for cooler nights are if walking around in case there are ticks. The material feels great and super comfortable. I will get these in non-convertible when they are on sale again.

True to size with enough stretch. Good fit through the thighs and will fit over boots. The Ferrosi shorts are equally awesome.

Travel pant's extraordinaire!! Perfect for 3 seasons and tested out all of them on my most recent trip. Super functional and lightweight. Can be worn with a nice shirt or T-shirt and looks good with both,

Just took them on a 30 day trip. Great for warm and cool temps. Plus they even wash up great in the sink.

This is my second pair of the Ferrosi Convertible Pants. Perfect fit, great hiking and travel pants. Bring one pair on a trip, you have long pants and shorts in one. Can't go wrong.

I've been happy with ferrosi convertible pants. Materials is perfect, provide warmth in the cool morning & keeps you cool when the sun is at its peak. Would suggests making pockets hidden with zippers, inner lower legs zipper and making a jogger pants with the same material as ferrosi

Needed quick drying pants up for 17 days, 277 River miles, 80 major rapids of the Colorado through the Grand Canyon. Recommended by my daughter these were ideal for water temps as low as 46 and day time temps breaking 100 during a heat advisory. Also stood up well for day hikes and bumpy but banging side canyon hikes and tributary water slides.

Very happy with these hiking pants. They are lightweight, cool, dry quickly, and are easy to wash. I motorcycle to my hiking destinations so these pack very easily and take hardly any space. Highly recommend.

Not a good fit. Thought it's slim fit but it was loose.

I have tested many a pair of pants and shorts and after many decades I have always resisted pants over shorts because shorts are just so darn comfortable for hiking. But pants are better for ticks, bugs, skin cancer, bushwhacking etc Then I discovered the Ferrosi Pants and Convert cousins they move well, work in the winters of Canada and the Deserts of New Mexico just love these babies.

Great pants for a wide range of conditions, and works for casual wear as well. They were comfortable to ski tour in in low 30s weather, and with the convertible feature i expect to get use out of them through the summer as well. The looser fit is great for guys with larger built lower bodies.

I wear these pants for work and I find them very comfortable and stretchy! They are like Lululemons but for work! The only weird thing I find are the drawstrings inside the zipper area. They are redundant and not necessary if I am already wearing a belt and I find them to get in the way if anything. As it is winter, I haven't tried it as shorts yet.

There are cheaper hiking pants out there, but the Ferrosi convertible pants are worth the money. Good fabric, comfortable, deep enough pockets, with an interior drawstring allowing one to go sans belt, e.g. if you're traveling through airports. For travel, I wanted a two pants-in-one convertible option, so the convertibles were the choice for me. Recommended.
