Customer Reviews Outdoor Research Ferrosi Convertible Pants

First- i really like these pants and would like to give them at least 4 stars BUT, i have had some issues. 1) the left thigh area started pilling in an area where nothing rubs, 2) the seam that is in the seat of the pants started to have loops in the stitches that started pulling out. 3) i ordered the 38/30 - The pants seam to be a bit loose and i am a husky 38 waist. Finally 4) i tried getting an exchange for a new pair and i was told they only do refunds- not exchanges. I originally ordered these at a sale price and was told that i would have to reorder at full price plus shipping- so not only am i out an important piece of hiking gear that i really like - now i have to pay more to replace them. The mixed part is that these pants are super stretchy and they breathe so well in various elevations. They dried fast when they got wet and the conversion to shorts was easy to use leaving a great length of shorts. I hike every week and i have tried other brands and OR has great clothing so i was really irritated and quite unhappy about the pants having defects and then how crudy the customer service experience has been. I would gladly post or even update my review if the company would make things right for me as the customer.
