I really like these tennis shoes but I wouldn’t say they are for any sort of activity. They are comfortable but I can’t run in them. I have a narrow foot and always purchase a size and a half bigger in my running shoes. I did that with these and they fit like my regular size. There weren’t any left to exchange for a different size but I kept them anyways, just not for activities like running.

Runs small and does not have as much lateral support as previous Mizunos I have worn. I miss the Wave Nirvana, and still have an old pair. That said, for the shoes out there these days, the Wave Creation is a good shoe. I will reorder in a larger size, as they run quite small in the blue/gray; I wore out a pair in the woodrose color. My toes went through before the soles wore out (a first), so I wish they had not taken out the extra layer on the toe box.

I loved the sock liner design. The tongue on this hurts my ankle by end of day. It's a great shoe but not for long wear.

Still on the fence with this one. I have chronic planters fascitis which resulted in surgery. It has improved tremendously and most days now doesn't bother me. but if I am on my feet for any length of time, it starts up again. At first, the wave by mizuno felt like it was going to be the thing that helped me stay on my feet. but after wearing for a few days, I almost feel like they are making it worse. So, I am not sure if I will be keeping these or not.

Decent replacement but definitely still prefer the Prophecy (no longer sold in the US).

The sizing is off. I have bought Mizuno shoes for years now, as suggested by my podiatrist. I usually wear a 10 (in all other shoes I wear a 9.5/10) these I had to up size to a 10.5.

I use the product for running. It provides a comfortable run and is good for my wide feet.

Color is a little deeper than expected, but still nice. Runs a little large and wide. Loose fitting.

This is an awesome shoe and as a nurse (not a runner!) I feel like I could easily run! The sizing is difficult, I have a 7.5 in grey that is perfect. The black took me two tries and some compromise, the 7.5 was a hair too small and the 8 was too large, I love this shoe (x2 now!) and ultimately went with the 7.5 with thin sox. It feels as though the shoe is not small but the heel cup is small and pushes the foot forward more than I would expect but several wearings now and we're getting on just fine. I won't own more than two (needed different colors!) because these are more than expensive but as a "difficult" foot to fit and please these are a great change from standard fare.
I'd also recommend:

I usually wear a 7/12 sneaker. This sneaker gives great support. My one concern is that my toes, especially the big toe is too tightly against the top of the sneaker. I will order a 1/2 size up ie. size (8) to see if that will solve this problem for me.

I love the look of this shoe! Walked around the house, felt comfortable at first, then I vacuumed with them on. (True test) my toes felt numb afterwards, a bit too narrow and even though I went up a half size, I think I could have gone up another half size. which would make it a whole size! I tried the gray color first, wanted to love them so much, I sent the gray back, and ordered the black. Sometimes different colors fit differently. The jury is still out on the black...so far they seem a tad bit roomier than the gray. Keeping my fingers crossed. Next up is to vacuum. I am a true size 7.5, medium width, although the older I get, the more my forefoot is spreading. These don't come in a wide size, darn! So, size 8 seems to be working. I'll keep you posted. Thanks zappos for your great customer service

I used to be a marathon runner and had my walking running style fit to Wave Creations at a local Fleet Feet store. I had been wearing Hokas Bondi 8s and was noticing that they wore down way quick. So I thought I'd go back to these again. It's hard to know if you're going to like a car unless you take for a test drive so I went and walked in them and to my disappointment not comfy at all, started to get a blister. Tried to return and I couldn't because I wore outside. They had no noticeable wear but I understand. Just so expensive not to love them.

Beautiful shoe but there is no way this shoe is a size 8. I couldn't even get my foot in this shoe. All my other shoes I own are 8 so, I know it's not my foot.

Nice looking shoe. but very incorrect. Throws your weight forward onto the ball of your feet. I have plantar fascia and while it has been improved after surgery, it is not 100% fixed. These shoes made the ball of my feet and the outer soles of my heels very very very sore. I felt like I was trying to always find my balance in them and because of the way it throws off the center, it made my back sore as well. I have gone back to my asics gel.

Mizuno runs small, but these seemed much smaller than normal. The look is great though.

I enjoy going for a jog a couple times a week. And I have been purchasing the wave prophecy for several years. Since I could not find the wave prophecy sneakers for sale, I purchased these. Much less support throughout the sole and overall less support. They still have the strong support in the heel and I like the color. But I hope to see the wave prophecy return with new colors.

I've been buying Mizuno shoes since 2006- I always loved how comfortable they were and how light they felt even after running at track practice for 2-3hours and then walk 1-2miles to the train station before taking the bus home and walking another mile from the bus stop. I also wore these all day for work cleaning houses- working 10-12 hours at a time sometimes and my feet still feeling refreshed and not sore at all. Then came my recent purchase in 2021- I don't know what they changed about the way they made this shoe but it went from being the most comfortable EVER to stiff, no give at all even after 2-3 weeks since my purchase and wearing them several hours a day. I'm not sure I'll buy them again- if I do I'll probably go to a Mizuno store and try them on first
