I'm looking for a shoe that will help with overpronation, but this didn't achieve that. I have two pairs of Wave Inspire 15 (two generations ago) that did the trick, but so far no luck with new Mizunos.

I have worn Mizunos for nearly a decade. They run short, and these are no exception, but the problem with the Creation 20 is the instep. I have a low arch, and these are still so tight that my toes went numb. When I loosened the laces enough that my circulation returned, the shoes slipped off my heels. I have two pairs of Creation 17 that fit like a glove, so this is a new issue. I hate that I have to return these -- the colors are gorgeous. But they just don't work for me.

I really love Mizunos. However I’ve noticed that this style does not hold integrity and support in the tor area. I’m disappointed because I’m a die hard mizuno runner.

I am a nurse and constantly on my feet all day. I love the material of these shoes but feel that they lack arch support and put a lot of pressure on the heel and inner arch

I purchased this shoe about six years ago and my new pair does not function like the old pair. It is almost too soft and feels too squishy. It feels cumbersome on my feet while I am running.

I so badly wanted to love this shoe bc I love cushion and support. I want a shoe to be a shoe. I’m not one of those that likes to feel the road. It had so much support but horribly narrow even in the heel.

I love Mizunos - have worn them for years. I switched a few years ago from the wave creation to the wave rider. I grabbed these to try on just to make sure I wanted to keep on with the wave rider and YES I still like the arch support and lightweight feel of the rider more than this. This has just slightly more bulk - but it is really the feel of the shoe that turns me off. Could be perfect for a different runner for sure! For me - I am going to stick with the wave rider.
I'd also recommend:
Mizuno & Brooks

Disappointed! This is my third pair of Wave Creations. The first were flawlessly comfortable right out of the box, and I ran two marathons in them. The second pair caused some discomfort in my toes/forefoot at the end of long runs, but this faded after a few weeks. The Wave Creation 20s caused outright toe pain and numbness by the end of my first 3 mile run, despite the fact that I sized up half a size. I’m not sure what Mizuno is changing, but they are not doing any favors for my particular feet. Overall these seem stiffer in the sole and clunkier than my past pairs. Thank goodness for Zappos generous return policy - they are going back.

I want to love these shoes, but the arch support is hitting the meaty part of my heel, not the arch. They have great padding and would be perfect otherwise. Definitely order 1/2 size up!

This shoe does not have the same padding as the two I have purchased in the past and the heal section is a little too raised on the inside part of the heal. Not as comfortable as the last two pairs I have owned.

I have been running in this style of shoe for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, this new model has not been the same at all. The show hurts my heal very badly and I find myself choosing other sneakers over this one when going for a run. Ill then try this show again but not no avail they still hurt my feet. Too bad, I had really good luck with this model / brand over the years but I just cannot run in this particular shoe any longer.

I have bought mizunos over last several years and have had no issues ... All the way back to wave creation 13( which were the best) . They have slowly decline in support and comfort since the 13, but the 20 is bulky, clunky , no support and i just could not wear them . Needless to say very disappointed .

I'm so disappointed, I have ordered this exact shoe in the blue color in February of this year, a size 9 same size for all my sneakers, they fit perfectly and I love the sneaker, a 5 star review for me for sure. Because I was so happy with the blue pair I ordered a size 9 in the black. When I received it my toe was butting up against the end of the sneaker so I exchanged it for a 9.5. When I received this pair it was a half size too big! So disappointing!

My Wave Creation 13 shoes, which I love love love, are finally starting to wear out. I fully expected to love these WC20 shoes but I do not. I ordered them a half size larger than the WC13s but they are too short for my big toes and too narrow for my little toes. I like the style and totally love the soles, but are they changing the shape or did I just get a strangely-sized pair? Whatever, I don't have time to deal with back and forth so I'm going to try a pair of Altra like one of the reviewers recommended. Keen is making some of their shoes narrower and now Mizuno. It's just sad when manufacturers care more for profit than they do their customers' satisfaction and loyalty.

I had these for about 4 months and the inside lining at the heel of one if the sneakers wore a hole. As well as the cuff of both sneakers. Total bummer because I loved the look of them.

I really wanted to love these runners. However, my knees did not. Soften the soles and send me a pair and I'll test.

I have been purchasing Mizuno Wave Creation for 15 years and have loved the support and shock absorption they give me. Unfortunately, while the price has gone up, the quality has gone down. About 5 years ago, I started noticing the mesh in the toe box area would start to deteriorate and actually created a whole in one pair. I treat my Mizuno sneakers like gold and do not use them for anything other than the intended exercise use (i.e. no hiking or anything that would damage them). The most recent pair had a defect in that the piece (plastic/rubber?) under the heel cracked. This was a very lightly used pair of Wave Creation 20 sneakers, and only used for walking on asphalt or cement. Zappos sent me a replacement pair and so far, so good. BUT, I doubt that I'll be spending $169 again on poor quality. Mizuno, please stop messing with your top of the line sneakers. These buyers are expecting top quality!

I bought these shoes and wore them for less than a year while recovering from plantar fasciitis. I am only now up to walking for two miles and they are falling apart at the front even though i bought a half size bigger than I normally wear. I’m very disappointed and would not buy this brand again.

Comfortable at first but after all day wear they were very uncomfortable, way too narrow and tight across the bridge of my foot. Cannot wear them, donating.
