The best of the best- Hoka One One Challenger ATR5! I have been wearing these for a week, standing 8+ hours a day, and the comfort is outstanding! Don’t walk, run to get these if you have a job on your feet all day. After reading many reviews, so glad I took the plunge to get these sneakers that have a wide toe box. There was no break in period needed, and my feet, back are in love. Also ordered the Hoka Bondi 6 which are much narrower in the foot, toe box and will be returning them. Thank you to all who reviewed their own experiences, as it helped me with my decision. I will be getting another pair of Hoka One One Challenger ATR 5. Zappos rocks!

This was my first HOKA purchase. I bought both the Clifton 7 and Challenger ATR 5, thinking that I would try them on and keep one of the two. I liked them so much I ended up keeping both pairs. I have a beginning bunion and the wide cut was perfect. A lot of room in the toe box and ankle fit is perfect. Highly recommend.

Had to exchange for a wide, glad I did. My Hakone's fit perfectly, can't wait to get out there. We live in Northern California near the fires and there is a smokey haze so no wandering for me yet.

I have worn these on all my recent hikes, hold up really well on trail and wearing microspikes ... good drainage if you get wet feet. Wide works really well for my odd feet!!!

They are super comfy and offer great support. Wear them all day sometimes even just walking around the house and I find that my feet and legs don't hurt as much.

I love these shoes! I wear them for walking/hiking on and off-road. The sole of these shoes is great for trail hikes. They have good arch support, not too high. They fit true to my normal shoe sizing. They have the right amount of cushion to absorb impact while providing the stability required off road. They fit like a glove to my feet with room in the toe box so I don't feel constricted at the front or side of the shoe. I have a fairly narrow heel (I'm usually and Asics girl) and these shoes do not slip at all.

I order a new pair of hoka's every 5 to 6 months for work! I am on my feet 10 hrs a day. I usually order the Bondi but thought i would try these! I live them!!

I love this shoe for both road and trail and it is one of my 3 favorite Hokas. The other two are the Rincon and the Torrent. The ATR fits my custom orthotic well and give me about 400-500 miles.

Podiatrist recommended them. Bought wide, usually wear them. These are wider than I expected but OK . Don't want to try regular ones as I don't want to be returning shoes.

They are as light as a feather. And roll as I walk which I love. I am not a runner. Using them for massage because all the twisting and turning I do is destroying my knees. I dont think this pair is specifically for knee support but my knees feel great wearing them. And the cushioning is amazing.

The fit is great, though it is 1/2 size smaller than my normal size. Wide width is great and was awesome to get a great color. The wide width are so limited in color, would love to have more color choices!

I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes because I have arthritis in my big toe joints that limits mobility and requires a wide width. The rocker sole on Hoka One One's allows me to walk long distances in comfort and the wide width means I can buy a pair in my actual shoe size instead of a couple sizes bigger. I already had a pair of this model in Medieval Blue. It was a no-brainer to order a second pair in Italian Plum. What a great color combination!

I walk 5-6 miles 3 days per week. I have used other name brand shoes that are comfortable for maybe the first 2-3 miles and then I start to have problems with rubbing or the bottom of my feet start to feel tired and sore. Not so with my Hoka Challengers. When I arrive back at home, my feet feel just as comfortable as when I started out. Also, no pronation. I love them and will buy again.

These shoes are the comfiest I’ve ever worn. I have Wide feet and sometimes end up having to wear double wides. I took a chance and ordered a single wide, and they fit amazingly!
